needs a major update
while the location was great and the river view from our room was lovely, the inside of our room was less than desirable. The condition of the carpeting was sub par, while everything else was in basic working order, it was old and tired looking. also, the shower door was one of those 1/2 doors, so it made a mess on the floor when you showered not to mention the bathroom never really warmed up. The hotel offered a free breakfast and the food was terrible. I would rather have a few basic items done well instead of 100 different unappealing offerings, even the scrambled eggs looked terrible (how can you mess up scrambled eggs). The staff in the hotel were nice and helpful.

You can find another hotel nearby for WAY cheaper!! This hotel is overpriced and not 5 stars, room had orange carpet. We were there in December and the room was cold when we arrived. We asked about the heat and it was not fixed, eventually my partner pressed enough buttons that the heat started working. The bar in the room was not complimentary!! We were charged ridiculous prices for the items!!

Superb location and views. Internet connectivity is patchy and hotel doesnt allow chromecadting, leaving very few options on TV for non PR speaking visitors like us.

The property is walking distance to all amazing scenic areas. Our room had an amazing view of the River and Ponte Luis Bridge. Hugo and Joanna were professional, informative and friendly. 3am wake up call and 3:30am taxi was arranged by the front desk with no hiccups. Thank you for an amazing experience. We will be back!

We spent three delightful nights at The Pestano Vintage Hotel, and I can confidently say there’s no better choice for a memorable stay. This charming vintage property is brimming with character, making every corner a delight to explore. Book a room with a balcony if you can—it's an excellent spot to soak in the atmosphere! The only minor hiccup was the carpet in our room, which felt a bit dated. But honestly, any concerns were quickly overshadowed by the outstanding hotel staff. They indeed went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and although I can’t recall their names, their exceptional service will not be forgotten. If you want a unique and enjoyable experience, this is the place!

Amazing location and hotel!
This hotel is superb. Unbeatable location and fabulous rooms! This hotel is located in the heart of Porto! Waking distance from all the main attractions. We were able to walk to all places. The personnel is simply amazing. They gave us great recommendations for places to go and eat. Everything from this hotel was great! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Porto!
