The hotel was clean and well cared for. Unfortunately, the water bottle filler was out of order and they didn’t offer any other way to get water at the hotel. The breakfast choices were limited and the pancake machine had run out. The proximity ti the airport was a huge positive.

I booked a room and it was after my flight landed at PDX around 10:30 pm When I got to the hotel the rude, obnoxious, dirty looking girl said my booking was made too late and did not give me a room. I had to request refund from Expedia and pay twice as much for another hotel.

We needed a room near the airport to catch an early flight. Tru did exactly that and provided a free shuttle directly to PDX, making our quick check in and out process very smooth and convenient.

Room was clean and stylish. Beds were comfortable. Very low water pressure in shower. My main complaint is that I was given two key cards and a room number. Neither key worked, so I had to return to the front desk, where I learned that the check-in person had sent me to the wrong room. No apology. Later made a call to ask whether they had any class or ceramic drinking vessels (i.e., coffee cups, wine glasses, etc.) in the lounge area, and first was put on hold while the person checked with someone else, then told no, only paper was available. Staff just seems inexperienced and not well versed in providing quality customer service. Certainly no "above and beyond" here. Stay was fine for what we needed, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Next time, I'll stay at Aloft instead.

Beautiful lobby, staff not so friendly. You have to pay for parking and there are no microwaves in the rooms. Storage space is limited in the room. Beds were comfortable and bathroom and shower was very good.

Clean and close to airport. Gates don’t allow easy drop off. Was dropped at gate—the camera shared we were being reported. Later discovered they do validate tickets and wouldn’t be reported for quick drop off. Otherwise stay lived up to the brands clean and comfy reputation.

Small but adaquate rooms

We somehow got the room set up for those with hearing loss. It was right next to the laundry and my husband and sons room was also for those with hearing loss right next to the ice machine! I got the laundry room since it was quieter than the loud ice machine. The rooms are small but clean and current in decor. I liked that the wall had a temp controlled dial.
