Someone knocked on my door all night along up into the morning. It kept me awake most of the night. Then, in the morning, the ducks outside on the pond were SO LOUD!! Fortunately the very nice guy at the desk let me change rooms for my next night. He also gave me a free drink coupon.

Maybe because I had my vpn on I didnt know there was a delightful shopping center less than 2 miles away. The parking situation could be better! I needed to validate my parking ticket each time I came and went. Lost $8 because I forgot! The food wasnt that good but at least I didnt have to leave the building.

Vic, at the front desk, is amazing! She was so friendly and approachable, exuding excellent customer service. Uncomplainingly came up to our room several times to assist us. Nice hotel, comfortable. I was checked in under the wrong name. Then assigned to a room but given the keys to a different room, The whole front desk experience was chaotic and confusing. The staff were friendly, but seemed the left hand and right hand couldn't do anything with ease.

The hotel entrance and hallways smell like smoke or smoke mixed with fabreeze. The rooms were not smelly though. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. We had a view of the lake. We were looking for a hotel near shopping with a good breakfast to get our day started but didnt realize that you have to pay 16 dollars each person. Breakfast was a buffet with bacon, waffles, scrambled eggs, coffe, juice, yogurt. Same you would get for free at other hotels but you have to pay extra. Parking is also an extra 15 dollars.

Overall excellent stay, had the pesto chicken sandwich at the Lakehouse restaurant and it was decent. The pancake breakfast hit the spot but do try to get a room with a view of the pond they have.

As a return customer it was an amazing experience. There was something scratching in the walls. Because of the closeness of the wildlife area around the hotel, it may have been something that was scratching From outside. There was no evidence of pests for anything like that. The staff was absolutely exemplary. I will be returning.
