The lobby area has been redone so upon entering you are led to believe this hotel has been updated and is nice. Thats where it ends. The rooms were in awful shape and not clean. Soap scum on shower glass, hair on walls. The wallpaper is peeling in multiple places and even missing in some. We paid for a city view but were met with a building next door view. When we inquired, we were told this is still city view. The bed is rock hard and uncomfortable. DO NOT use the coffee maker. We ran multiple empty runs through and all came out brown. There was trash littered all over the hallways and elevators. Some for the entire visit. The restaurant was closed on a Friday and Saturday evening. For $300 a night, you would think they would put a little effort into keeping this place up to par but a motel 6 would have been nicer.

The sliding door to the bathroom doesn't have a bottom track, so it swings in and out when you move it- when closing it the first night it broke almost all on my fingernails on my left hand. The clock plug in is broken. The curtain is broken ok the track so it doesn't close fully. There was trash/candy wrappers in the room when we first got here. The shower was clogged. The elevators smelled like sweat and body odor. For what we paid, with all these things put together, this is ridiculous and unacceptable.

It is the perfect place and leisurely. Walking around to see the shopping, bridges, and Ferris Wheel was so awesome! A lot of sightseeing in the downtown night!

The hotel room was clean and it had a great view of the rivers. The staff was quick and efficient checking us in. They held our luggage for us when we checked out until we were ready to leave town. Very nice, very helpful.

This location is in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh and I was able to go site seeing because of that. Staff was friendly, housekeeping did their jobs and I could not be happier. As someone that actually works at a hotel and knows how the proceedings go they did everything right, however the only thing I will say is the breakfast they had was not worth it. $18 for an omelette is a little insane and it tasted like something the average person at their house could make. I have no problem paying for an item as long as it matches the price point, this omelette tasted like it should’ve costed $9-$10 but other than that everyone was nice and helpful.
