This hotel definitely earned this 5 star review! We checked in and every amenity was explained to us in great detail. We arrived in our room, and it was beautiful! We were stunned at how clean, bright, welcoming, and comfortable the room was. Every detail was thought out, and we were thoroughly impressed. And the bed.... We love firm beds and we have NEVER slept in a more comfortable, FIRM bed. We were disappointed that we only had the opportunity to stay in this property for a night because we had other stops on our journey, but we will definitely be staying here in Pittsburgh again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone! Family friendly, clean, close to everything you could want in downtown Pittsburgh, and the charm was second to none!

The Kimpton Monaco in Pittsburgh is an exceptional hotel. Special mention for the front desk assistants Nina and Ohla. They were friendly, professional and always had a client service mentality. Theresa our room service friend took great care of us. The restaurant has unbelievably delicious food and space is comfortable. All the floors a well designed. I would stay there again.

Amazing interior design. This hotel has been updated to reflect a historical charm with contemporary flair. Very central location in downtown Pittsburgh. I was a little unimpressed with the VIP benefits that they offered Expedia guests. But other than that, I loved it and would definitely go back if I visit the city for business.

The hotel is nice, but I don’t know if I would call it 4 stars. Yes, it has a hollywood glam decor that makes it interesting. But the reality is that it lacks in amenities. The rooms with two queen beds don’t even have an extra nightstand on one of the sides. There’s not even a coffee maker. There was some complimentary coffee and tea offered in the mornings, but not much else. The hotel is pretty, though. Beds were comfortable. It’s quiet (although I was on the last floor, so not sure how quiet it is on lower floors), and it’s very well located.
