When we checked in, the guy at the front desk was very short with us. He literally gave us a map, explained a few things, and sent us on our way. They don’t have an elevator so we had to carry our luggage up the steps. When we came in the room, the A/C wasn’t on so it was super hot in the room. They only give you one key so every time you leave the A/C cuts off and it wasn’t the best at cooling the room. It was hot all the time. The room we purchased was a superior double, but it looked way smaller than the pictures. It actually looked like the Deluxe Double room. But when I asked, they said it was the superior room. Also, there is a laundry room. But they won’t let you use it. You have to pay to have them do your laundry which was 150 baht per kilo. Usually it’s 50 baht per kilo so that was annoying. They also couldn’t help with making ferry arrangements or anything. Noise wasn’t an issue during our stay mainly because the place was pretty vacant, but I can see how if there were other people staying there that it could be a very noisy place to sleep. Other than that though, the rest of the staff was super nice except the guy that checked us in. Laundry service was quick. Room was clean just a lot smaller than pictured and the A/C unit took a while to cool things down. It’s not a bad hotel if you are looking for a cheap 3 star. Lastly, the location was great. We were right next to food, the Sunday night market, walking street, but just far enough away from the craziness.
