This property is accessible only by boat (surcharge) from Ao Por Grand Marina (Phuket) to the resort at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM from May to October and returning from the resort at 10 AM, noon, and 3 PM. Very beautiful & peaceful property. Beautiful rooms with awesome view, clean & peaceful. They have seamless communication via WhatsApp, they assign personal relations officer & responds instantly to your queries, very unique service for guests. Seamless checkin & transfer via speedboat from Ao Po Marina to resort & back. The only downside is food for vegetarians. No real veg options, anyone vegetarian will be starving there, as its on a Island which have limited food options outside resort. Many Indians visit here & vegetarians too. Even the veg food offered has smell/flavour of fish sauce! which is non edible by vegetarians. Also there should be drinking water refilling options for guests staying in Santhiya. If they take care of these things, the overall experience will be very pleasant & awesome. Overall if food is no issue, then its a must have experience for all sorts of guest; couples, families with kids, they have good kids area & kids pool.

This property was MORE beautiful than the pictures which I would not have believed to be possible! We brought our three teenagers and they also loved it. Jumping off the dock, swimming in our own pool, paddle boarding and the wood work was all about incredible. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was worried about staying here because we had to pick between this and Phi Phi due to the length of our trip, and I’m so glad we picked this. Was my favorite part of Thailand so far. The hotel is so beautiful, and where you breakfast each day has a panoramic view of the ocean. Food is great. We liked the green curry. The beach is quiet and serene. The whole resort is relaxing. But it also has options for excursions you can book through the hotel, including to see the islands in the bay. We ended up booking through the company outside the hotel to tour the islands by longboat and that was incredible.

The hotel was amazing. In the middle of the jungle, with the most incredible views above the ocean. Our ocean view villa was big and comfortable, and most important - quiet. The staff was super nice and polite. Not much to do but relax, but we had a really good time in the beach and the pool. Also the massage was great. The food was good most of the time.

Very pretty hotel and views. Food is mediocre at best. Check/in out is a pain. Restaurants are 30’ apart and the menu applies to both, but you can’t order some of the food even though it is on the menu. Would not stay again. Had to fill out a survey on the food while someone held an iPad at dinner — very awkward.

Wir sind etwas zwiegespalten. Für ein Luxusressort reicht es einfach nicht. Die Poolvillen sind wirklich wunderschön, überall Schnitzereien, der Pool und die Wanne toll. Teilweise aber auch renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstücksrestaurant ist absolut überlaufen, die Leute begegnen sich schon aggressiv, es sind einfach zu viele Leute beim Frühstück. Auch am Hotelpool muss man sich selbst um Handtücher udgl. kümmern und Strafe zahlen, wenn man sie nicht selber zurückbringt, Müll wird auch nicht weggeräumt. Die Hotelpreise sind unverschämt hoch. Einfach alles ist total überteuert, aber man kann ja in das Dorf gehen. Der Hol- und Bringdienst funktioniert gut. Ein paar Villen sind von außen einsehbar - ein NoGo bei dem Preis. Fazit: Kein echtes Luxusressort, aber luxusfeeling bei den Poolvillen. Essen lieber authentisch im Dorf (auch wenn dort touristische PReise verlangt werden, besser und günstiger). Der Speedboottransfer ist total überteuert, und für Toilette muss man extra 20,- Baht bezahlen, geht's noch? Die Mitarbeiter sind superfreundlich.

Villa was in need of repairs, so much so that floor boards were rotten and broke under foot. Highlighted to staff who initially suggested we move a table over the broken flooring. Not safe so we insisted we move due this health and safety. We were moved after we insisted. Staff, however, were friendly and polite. No apologies. Will sadly not book here again

This place is amazing. We only stayed one night as a middle ground between Krabi and Phuket, but wish we would have stayed longer. I will definitely plan to stay longer next time.

Low standard - nice view
The Villas are very old. Amazing view though, but a lot of insects. Ants all over, cockroaches and frogs both inside and outside. A little disgusting. The service in the restaurant and reception are not as high as other places in Thailand. You do not feel special - more like any other guest. Borrow food at the restaurants after 1 visit. Breakfast is crowded. It is not really working with the what’s app, telephone thing - if you make a request to one person, another will answer and you have to explain yourself again and again. Elephant trip was nice and they arranged perfect transport to and from the hotel for us. The island is worth a visit, but next time I will choose another newer hotel for my family.

Overall a great trip if you want someone a little out of the way and are there purely for rest and relaxation. However, if you’re looking for nightlife, or something a bit more lively, then likely this is not the place. Lots of couples and older people this time of year, but the vibes are great! The staff is amazing and super helpful.
