Be aware, over the summer months the courses offer phenomenal rates, just go early in the morning. Scottsdale is home to the TPC Waste Management Tournament in early February. Known as the “Greatest Show on Grass” it’s the best place around to see and be seen. Be sure to plan a visit to the Bird’s Nest and try to get a spot at the 16th hole.

More interested in a “cocktail experience” then there are a number of acclaimed mixologists practicing their art at either the Jade Bar, Second Story Liquor Bar, Gertrude’s, Cowboy Ciao, or Citizen Public House.
Depending on the season, Arizona has 2 ski resorts, Sunrise and Snow Bowl. Both are within a few hours’ drive and you can make a day trip of it if you want to strap on a board or some skies.
