We highly recommend this hotel to whoever visit Phnom Penh Cambodia. Here's why: we checked in on Nov 7th 2024 & immediately were politely greeted by all the staff at the front desk. Linda, the front desk manager were wonderful. She explained about our rooms, which were connected with our elder parent on the first floor (which is 2nd floor in the US), the cost breakdown she received via Expedia, the cost of breakfast, which one room was not included when I booked. We then offered a welcome drink (tamarin flavored), which were refreshing after a long flight from the USA. We loved it We then were shown to our rooms, which we immediately felt in love with. It's our home away. We showered & ordered Khmer food from the hotel restaurant for our parent while we enjoyed delicious Khmer diner just for the two of us. .The restaurant manger was very nice & polite to bring us the wine menu. We ordered 2022 Vintage Cabernet Sauvignon Famille Bouey Cuvee 20, which was excellent. We rested the rest of the day. The next day, November 8, 2024 breakfast choices were amazing & endless including Khmer & Western style food, which lasted me the entire day. The pool is another amenities the hotel has to offer: it is beautiful, pleasant & refreshing: I forgot to pack my bathing suit but my wife and she enjoyed every second. Pool drinks elevated the experience. We left Phnom Penh to visit Battambang, Siem Reap, Preah Vihear temples, Sihanookville, but always come back to hotel - We give it 10 stars!

We loved our hotel stay. From the welcome to the room to the breakfast everything was amazing. The pool area is well manicured and so luxurious. The area was very central to everything. We wished we had longer here to enjoy!

Palace Gate is an oasis within a busy city. Facilities offered everything you will want or need. Our room was beautiful, pool was tranquil and much needed after the walking and heat of the day. All staff are well trained and go out of their way to meet your needs. Drivers were professional, courteous and service oriented. Front desk staff were exceptional. Special thanks to Q. I had an exceptional stay at this hotel and am pleased to give it a 5-star rating! The customer experience was outstanding, with friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the food was excellent with a variety of delicious options. Its location is very convenient, making it easy to explore Phnom Penh. To top it all off, the price was great for the value provided. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Phnom Penh! Highly recommended.

After not a perfect start to our 4 nights stay this hotel redeemed itself beyond what we thought was possible. The PG hotel is in great location in central Phnom Penh and is a serene oasis amid the outside chaos. The gardens and the pool are the stars of the hotel so green, lush and well maintained. Our room was perfect for what we required, large and well equipped, my only gripe (which is minor) is the bathroom mirrors steamed over every time you shower (not sure why there was no exhaust fan). Breakfast is a treat (despite being a little disjointed) there is a load choice to please even the most fussy. All in all this will now be where we choose to stay whenever we’re in Phnom Penh.

This is a gorgeous property and the value for your money is very high here. I had a balcony type room and it was very spacious and luxuirous. The hotel has all the amenities you could ask for as well as a great staff that are amenable to your needs. Most main area attractions are very walkable but its also easy to find a tuk tuk if you need one. I would definitely stay here again.

We went to this property for our honeymoon and we were absolutely thrilled with our stay. We were treated with cold towels and a lovely welcome drink, and our room was upgraded and we had beautiful “Happy Honeymoon” decorations in our room, complete with swan towels and rose petals. The service was fantastic throughout our entire stay. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. The property was in a great, central location, with access to many attractions within walking distance. Would absolutely recommend this hotel!

STAFF was top notch! Excellent. Room felt a little old and worn out, had no view, was kind of a pain to get to (within the hotel). The locatin of the hotel itself is PERFECT. Only stayed one night but I think there are better options for the price.
