This is the perfect hotel. Great location and exceptional view. Helpful and warm staff. one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had. Modern and well kept everywhere. I'd recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Short stay for sightseeing
A good value 3/4* hotel in a very central location, very handy for exploring the city. It was clean and the staff ok; I say this because very few of them understand any English at all, but they make an effort to assist. Our very spacious room hard a nice view (skyscrapers and bay) and had a mini fridge and remotely controlled curtains. The complimentary buffet breakfast is good and plentiful, but hardly any vegetables like we're used to in Europe. Another great plus is the 1pm check out time. However they don't provide shower gel like many hotels around the world do, just little tablets of soap; we had to use our own. The shower door doesn’t close property, just slides open as there's nothing to keep it shut. There's some noise from the road and during our stay there were parties with loud guests who had little consideration for other hotel guests, talking loudly in the hallway early hours of the morning. However I would definitely recommend the hotel (for the right price).

A Gem of a Hotel
Plaza Paitilla was our home away from home for three days/nights of exploration of the glittering financial district of Panama City. VIEWS, VIEWS! We were given an upper floor, bayside with sweeping views of the coastline. The king room was spacious, the HVAC system surprisingly quiet (given that we needed A/C 24-7), and the staff--especially dining personnel--exceedingly helpful. Being on the ocean side of the major coastal thoroughfare was a bonus in terms of noise and open spaces as well. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. There was a large variety of food items but the hot food was cold and most items had very little flavour. The area was nice but to go to a fine dining restaurant for dinner required an Uber as none were within walking distance considering the heat and humidity. I would not stay at this hotel again.
