Not as Advertised STAY FAR AWAY
Our stay was supposed to be 6/30 to 7/5. We arrived to a house that was dirty, had mold in the shower, potential blood on the wall, water damage on the ceiling, leftover dirty sock and neck pillow from a previous occupant, and a cloudy disgusting pool. We called VRBO and all they did was contact the property manager, who told us it was all just aesthetic and it had been cleaned twice. There is no way, yes there were gouges in the walls, scuff marks all over the walls, and gouges in tile but dirt, mold and potential blood are not aesthetic and my infant granddaughter and elderly in-laws could not stay in those conditions. He sent his cleaning ladies, however it would have taken at least 8 hrs to remediate the hazards and clean. We left the property immediately.
VRBO closed my first case, and I called again to open a second (which was traumatizing because all they did was connect me on a call with the combatant manager who refused to admit the condition of the house and claimed we had pit bulls, we don't, we have 2 small 35-40 lb rescues that were claimed on the reservation). On 7/5, I realized the property manager extended my stay w/out consent to Jul 7 (probably so I couldn't leave a review), he updated it when I brought it to VRBO's attention.
As VRBO & manager don't seem to be taking my case seriously, I posted my evidence to FB and will keep fighting for a refund. He wouldn't take Amex so I had to use debit. Go to VRBO Facebook and look at the "Mentions"!
