Looks better in pictures
The patio and view are the best features of this condo. Its a gorgeous view. Once inside. Not so much. The sofa is very worn. Leather is peeling badly. The 2 chairs next to sofa also very worn. The keurig makes a terrible noise. Its on its last leg. The jacuzzi tub in master doesn't work. And the pillows on the beds are terrible. Definitely not worth the price we paid. They only give you 1 assigned parking space. The my kids had hella time trying to find a parking spot. Would not recommend this unit.

The Caribe is awesome. The view from the condo is beautiful. Very much enjoyed sitting outside watching the boats go by. Will definitely stay at Caribe again but not this unit. Sofa looks terrible. Not like in pic. I wish i could post a picture of it. The 2 chairs in the living room are also very worn. Plenty of pillows for the beds. But they are terrible. So bring your pillows. Jacuzzi tub in master not working. Kitchen is good. Had everything we needed. But keurig is on its last leg.

Not worth what it cost Master bathroom jets in tub did not work and maintenance nor rental company made sure it was fixed. No one ever came to check on the issue after notifying them twice of it.

Renting the facility was quite easy. After arriving we realized quickly things were not as expected- parking passes not included, floors were filthy, dishwasher didn’t work & the sliding glass door needed hulk hogan to open it. The people communicating from VRBO were quite rude on several occasions & finally decided to just work through it on our own. The Caribe was very nice but two grandkids got hurt by the pool area because maintenance issues. Beautiful area just need to update some things & nicer workers at VRBO.

We love the Caribe, however the resort itself doesn't seem to care about keeping pool furniture and pool fountains in working order. One would think condo HOA would maintain a little better. The condo itself was great with a great view. We did have an issue with the refrigerator but it was fixed within 24 hours.

I haven’t stayed at the Caribe in several years. Was so excited to take my famiky(they had never been) but was disappointed in the furnishings. The couch was peeling terribly? Knobs were missing in drawers, some of the drawers wouldn’t open. Pictures were misleading. Also pool area was very dirty, mildew on stairs just not what it use to be. Staff was short Janes I’m assuming but the ones that were there were very nice. Over all a great location and floor plan.

Unit does not seem to have been updated since it was built. We had to replace quite a few light bulbs (to me easier to do yourself than have to deal with a maintenance call), most of the furniture is past its life expectancy and the balcony door needs some serious work so it will open or close without the help of a weightlifter. A/C worked perfect, fridge worked great along with the ice maker and the mini fridge in the wet bar. The view is spectacular and location and pools are very good. The shuttle to the beach worked out great just don't lose your bracelet or room key, they are strict about who rides. We would book this room again but hope the furniture gets updated for next year. Thanks.

Here is exactly what I sent to the VRCLUB management. In my opinion, and I'm sure you feel the same, The Caribe is more of luxury condos than low end, moderate condos. With that being said, my expectations were set high. Upon our arrival, there were things that caught my attention right off the back that I felt were not acceptable. The furniture in the living room was more than just a little worn. It felt very unwelcoming when we should have felt at home like most condos feel, especially for the price condos are to rent right now. The pictures on the website do not depict the actual condition of the furniture which also lead our expectations to be high. In addition to the living room furniture, a chair in one of the bedrooms was also very worn to the point we didn't want to sit on it in fear of ripping it more. One of the beds in the spare bedroom squeaked so loud, my daughter and son in law couldn't even move around at night because it would have woken up the baby. I don't want to sound like I'm attacking you or degrading the condo, however, I do want to let you know the opinion of a guest. I do not feel it met the expectations for the price I paid nor what the pictures depicted. The pictures on the VRBO site does not depict the actual condition of the furniture.

We’ve stayed at the Caribe numerous times and have always been pleased with our condo, but we were disappointed with this one. It wasn’t very clean nor well maintained. The furniture was old and worn out, & even though we reported that the dishwasher wasn’t working, it was never fixed, nor did anyone respond to our report. We will definitely go back to the Caribe because we love the area & the amenities, but we will be more selective and would rather book through a VRBO owner instead of A vacation rental company.

New Years getaway
Check in was easy on arrival. Entered the condo and the air didn’t work. There isn’t a number to communicate with someone at vrclubonline so it was done over email. We were initially told that the technician would not be there until the morning. After realizing how unacceptable that was a technician came that night but did not have the part and we slept without air the first night. Was fixed the next day. The pictures online do not provide an accurate depiction of the condition of the furnishings. Couch in den had the “pleather” peeling and looks very unclean. Chair in the 3rd bedroom had the same appearance.

We have stayed at the Caribe over a dozen times. Can’t beat the location. Unit was comfortable with minor issues of cleanliness which The VRclub offered to send housekeeping back out. We contacted them through the app they suggested and all communication was almost immediate. Docks are still closed. One pool closed up top by lazy river. We played putt putt. Shopped. Laser tag. Go carts. Visited beach. And Of course ate at the Cobalt next door **you won’t find better food anywhere. Unit furniture was outdated and worn If that matters to anyone. Bring your pans if you plan to cook. For us we would come back here with that known as the price was a bit better than some.

Most of the condos at Caribe are same layout. This condo however had several maintenance items that need addressed and a few other small comfort issues. Wine cooler did not work. repair man actually came while we there and turned the breaker on but after it cooled off, it started beeping and only way to stop it was turning off breaker. Hall bath door is coming off hinges and shower door does not slide and towel bar is broken. The pillows on all beds are cheap uncomfortable pillows. The couch is not very comfortable at all. Would advise some comforable outdoor furniture on balcony. We sat outside twice all week because furniture is not comfortable after a few minutes.

Ideal Vacation Spot
The condo was very clean and spacious. The balcony was large enough for everyone to enjoy. We had a great view of the bay from our balcony and really enjoyed watching the boats on Saturday and Sunday. The swimming pools were ideal for our Grandchildren. Some of them were shallow enough that they could walk from one end to the other. Our 8 month old granddaughter enjoyed sitting on the wall between the pools and patting the water. A fire alarm did go off and we had to evacuate the building at about 10 PM one night, which was very upsetting for the children. Thankfully, everything checked out OK and we were able to go back into the condo. I would book again.

Our stay at this beautiful condo was great! Condo was spotless when we arrived and had just enough for cooking light meals. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. views of the water and pool/lazy River were perfect. We will definitely be back!
