The good: hotel had a great location right on the boardwalk. There were so many things to do within walking distance. The pool was great and had live music and a tiki bar. There was a nice porch that overlooked the ocean with a plethora of rocking chairs off of a beautiful lobby. The staff was all very pleasant. The bad: Parking was difficult. The room was incredibly small. The bathroom was moldy and impossibly tiny. The shower door didnt close so the floor would soak.The room was not truly clean as we found a previous guests' candy wrapper on the floor. AC was disgusting.

The rooms really need updating. There are depressing and small. There was no place to sit in there except the bed. It’s such a great location and with a little updating could be a great vacation spot. I would not stay there again due to the room size. The beds were very uncomfortable, there was one light in the room. Bathroom was very nice however. The staff is awesome. Loved the lobby and the porch and beach access.

Needs Updating
The rooms are really really small we had an 8x8 full bed room. It did have a fridge and TV and a small bathroom. The bed wasn't too bad surprisingly not were the pillows. But there was mold a lot of places including on the curtains, walls and the AC unit definitely needed cleaning/filter change. It was overall worth it for the price we got and the hotel was in an A+ location right off the boardwalk. Could not have asked for better. The lobby has been updated and a microwave is available there if you need one. The staff was friendly and helpful every time we needed them, so this review is not a ding on them at all! The elevator is slow AF so just walk the steps it's faster lol. Also the restaurant downstairs is so good so definitely check it out but you can't get room service or drinks from there which is really unfortunate. Parking is good and we were able to always find a spot.

I will stay here again.
It was myself and my 13 year old son. We had 2 double beds. Room was small for 4 unless you spend more time away from the hotel. Clean, nice staff, and can’t wait to go back and lay on that comfy bed with your choice of pillow comfort. Pool was great, live music Wednesday and the weekend with the pool bar was great.

The place has a really nice view of the ocean and is close to everything. The pool is very nice. The outside facilities were maintained very well. My family loved the front porch overlooking the boardwalk. Now the bad...the smell of the place had a musty smell. The carpeting is very old and dirty looking. I was disgusted by my rooms air conditioning filter. I cleaned it, mentioned it to the staff and was just ignored. They told me they was glad I cleaned it. The bathroom door was held together by a piece of metal behind the door knob.

Very convenient location, nice lobby, staff was easy to deal with and we enjoyed the restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooms can definitely be cleaned and upgraded but they're not terrible.

Very convenient location, lobby area and pool are nice. Rooms are very small, bathroom is very small, and the carpets are very dirty (I get that there is a lot of wet/sandy beach traffic). Staff was pleasant and whenever we needed something it was brought to the room right away.

My spouse and I had low expectations after reading the reviews but we got a good enough price that we were ok with everything except for the mattress. It was so worn it had permanent indentations where people slept. I tossed and turned and didn’t get a good night sleep the first night. We flipped and turned the mattress ourselves the next morning and slept great the rest of our time there.

The location is good, the board walk is right there in front of the property. Nice porch, but that’s the only thing good about the property. When I check in, the receptionist was in training, she barely speak English, so she can’t even explain how to get to the parking area. Didn’t tell me how to get to my room, which floor etc. Then the other receptionist asked her if she said have a good day, enjoy your stay to me, which she said no, so I was standing there not knowing that check in was done. Bed are terrible, not comfortable at all. There are cheap comfortable bed these days they can replace the old bed with. Carpet also dirty. Small shower, I am 120 lbs woman can’t even shower comfortably. Would not stay in this hotel again.

OC History
A piece of Ocean City history. Good location. Walking distance to the pier, but far enough away to make for chill evenings on the amazing front porch! A lot of good places to eat within a block or two.

Sheets had stains, carpet floor is so dirty, no balcony, the rooms are advertised to be much bigger than they actually are, it is so small. The front desk staff are so rude like they are unhappy, not welcoming at all.
