Upon arrival, the room I had reserved was unfortunately not up to par in terms of cleanliness. I found hair in the bathtub and sink, and the floor hadn't been properly swept. When I requested a different room, I encountered similar cleanliness issues, which indicated a consistent problem throughout the facility. Evidence of insufficient maintenance was visible with dirt on walls, floors, and surfaces, suggesting a lack of regular cleaning.
Moreover, the bed in the second room was poorly made, with sheets and the comforter simply thrown onto the bed. Several amenities were also non-functional, including the microwave, fridge, lamp, and hair dryer. The flooring showed signs of deterioration, there were sporadic holes in the walls, and ceiling fixtures were broken, sagging, and had water damage. A musty odor lingered due to inadequate ventilation.
Despite these shortcomings, I must commend the check-in attendant for their prompt and courteous assistance in promptly addressing my concerns and arranging a room change.
