Nice little hotel, property needs some investment to improve, it looks and feels old. The heating didn’t work, and NYC was at 16ºF, the room was cold! Staff lent me 2 heaters to make do, maintenance couldn’t get the heat to work.

Huge rooms and bed, was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Location was amazing, only a couple of mins walk to central station and a lot of the big sights. Was a good place to stay as only really in the room to sleep. Only a couple of issues, the heating/aircon unit did not work, was very cold one night! Also, would recommend bringing your own shampoo and shower gel as during our one week stay they only replaced the tiny toiletries once. Also they did not change the bed sheets, only made the bed which as mentioned for a week stay they should have been changed. The internet was not very good, and when checking out they initially tried to charge $5 per bag if you want to keep them there for the day. Due to the mentioned issues they did not charge this.

The staff and the location were excellent. The building is beautiful but needs a little TLC. Loved the bathtub! Was great for a long soak after a busy day. Definitely would stay again! Little touch up’s to get back to it’s original charm!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Tuscany by Luxurban. The location couldn’t be better—it’s within walking distance of everything you could possibly need. It is close to iconic landmarks and shopping districts. Public transportation- Grand Central is just a couple blocks away making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacious. If you’re looking for convenience, comfort, and outstanding service, this is the place to stay.

Roomy but basic
The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room was large by NYC standards but felt grubby with pulled carpet strands and lint. Platform bed was comfortable - firm and no sags. The pillows were more supportive than most hotel pillows. Bathroom was spacious and had a good shower with both shower head and handheld shower spray. Two bath towels were provided but only one hand towel and no washcloths. Outlets by the bed were difficult to access and walls were bare. Finally the temperature controls did not work but there was a space heater so we were warm enough once that got cranked up. There was no coffee maker.

Air conditioner was broken. Had to raise window to keep it cool. Shower did not drain properly or quick enough. Had to stand in your on dirty water because the shower does not drain properly. Staff was awesome tho. Great price and convenient for us.

This hotel is obviously either going under or doing things on a shoestring. Our room was freezing cold 13c WITH the fan heater on, the windows are single glazed with gaps with wind blowing in and sounds like you are in the road. Air con not working, WiFi not working, staff unfriendly and rude and inhospitable. Don’t stay here

The hotel is a little tired in areas, but our room was very spacious, with a great bathroom, and really comfortable beds. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly too. The only criticism was that the windows in our room were incredibly drafty and the blinds did nothing to lessen the draft/chill, so much so, we had to try and fashion a draft excluder out of a bath mat and some of our worn clothes. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Grand Central, the NY Public Library and from there, Times Square.

So impressed with the size of the room. Been to New York many times and not had such a big room. Really comfy bed, great facilities like rainfall shower and tv. Really quiet even though our room was next to the lift. Would definitely stay here again. The WiFi was poor and often dropped out. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and check out. Very close to Grand Central and a 15 minute walk to Times Square, great location Would highly recommend
