Staff was wonderful and the room was clean and very nice. Plenty of places to eat in the area and conveniently located near the Broadway theatres. I utilized the parking deal which worked out great. Affordable, comfortable and convenient gives this hotel a perfect 10 from me.

This hotel is located VERY close to every thing. 1-2 Mins Walking distance for Coffee, lunch and dinner restaurants. I am a runner and it is conveniently located really close to Central Park, a great location if you are a runners. walkers and people with families who like strolling or walking around the city. Very Friendly staff, EVERYONE from front desk to the cleaning staff, pleasant staff all over the hotel, always smiling and greeting you kindly. I would like to mention 2 workers SHAY & MELVIN, they were extremely helpful and made sure our stay was very accommodating. Its a smaller hotel from the large chain hotels but a really nice NYC experience. 5 Stars and we would be staying there again.

Clean, well maintained, great location
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. However, it definitely prioritizes art over comfort. The rooms are very small and cramped, and warm, only cooled by a small window AC unit. Great location though.

A great place to stay, convient for food and subwa
It was a great room, very clean and the staff was very friendly. Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and Jerry made sure we were taken care of back to the airport the day we left at 4 am. It made our life so much easier. Definitely staying here again and I will tell everyone to stay here too.

Delightful stay at the Moderne Hotel! Comfortable, clean room with a modern design and friendly front desk staff. Walkable to Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, and more, but on a quiet side street. Would certainly return!

Avoid. Hot do not honour bookings by hotels.com
Overbooked hotel then blame guests Nightmare , arrived at 7pm and got told that my booking was cancelled by Expedia . I never booked with Expedia. The reason my room was cancelled was blamed on hotels.com. I was meant to get a cancellation message from hotel.com . This never came . I asked for any proof that the booking was cancelled by hotel.com they declined to show me . I was told to leave and find and find a solution to this nightmare with Expedia. The manager said she has nothing to do with 3rd parties and did not even have my contact details even though I booked 8 months ago . The cancellation was never confirmed or communicated to me . Manager said you should have booked direct with them. The hotel has 3 steps to the door and no step free access. Had to lift all the suits cases up and down No parking at the front of the hotel to drop off your bags . Had to go the car park . Got charged 30 dollars for the 30 something minutes I was arguing with the manager .
