The bathroom was so smelly when we checked it : it was smell of mildew or mold because there was no ventilation. we called front desk and they sent room service for spray. but we lived with the same smell for 4 days it didn't go away. also felt the front desk and people at door were rude and weren't big of a help either. Think twice before staying there.

To start; this is a reasonably high end property. Attention to the customer left a lot to be desired. We stayed three nights, pre booked & paid over a month in advance. We had a Junior Suite (the very bare minimum you would want at this establishment). The room was not made up on Sunday (albeit the sign on the door saying "Please make up"). Towels had to be requested, glasses were taken but not replaced, the ice machine on Level 3 was out (on 5 too); when I asked over the phone about the ice I was told "You use seven, you want order food?" ... NO Valet retrieval took 40 minutes; and then I did not notice the broken right wing mirror until we were well away from the hotel. For mine get a Hilton/Marriott/anything else; it will be cheaper and more responsive!

We stayed at The Michelangelo for three nights. Everything was perfect. Rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the location was very convenient. Plus, Teodora was the best doorman EVER!
