Stay on a low floor.
We were trapped in an elevator for 20 minutes with no apology much less any compensation. The cleaning crew, which had all day to clean, finally showed up at 4:45 just as we had returnees to our room. They then said that they had to leave at 5, so we had to vacate our room or else not have it cleaned. And finally, the key cards stopped working the last morning despite signs saying that check out was at 11. Fortunately, one of us was still in the room. There were numerous problems wit broken elevators but being trapped for 20 minutes was scary and uncomfortable. The walls are also quite thin. We could hear people next door and from upstairs.

Highly unprofessional staff. Hotel was ok but the staff was pretty unprofessional. we did not get the rooms we booked and had to accomodate in different types with children. excuses and excuses even after we knew that the rooms were available. will not be staying in another wyndham property

Comfy hotel for our family of 5
We stayed with our family of 5 in the hotel the weekend after Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. We got two adjoining rooms, which fit us perfectly. The lobby is spacious and comfortable when checking in and out. The luggage storage after check out was a little strange in that it was self serve. The room was completely full and we had to tetris our luggages in. Everything worked out though.

The family type room was perfect for my husband and our 3 teens (12yr old and 2, 18yr olds) the layout with 2 queen size beds and a bathroom that led out into a very spacious, open sitting area with couch and bar counter with sink and fridge with the bunk beds and another spacious bathroom worked great! It was very clean and service was great. We felt it was in a very convenient location and felt safe as it was right next door to a NYPD precinct!!

We stayed here as a family of 6 they advertised a family room with bunk beds however our room had 2 double beds and then a sofa bed which was old and very uncomfortable the mattress was more like a piece of paper we asked numerous times for a better room or too swap which they said would be at a cost of the normal room rate on a separate occasion we ordered 2 teas which we were handed 2 paper cups and told to use the hot water machine no problem until they wanted to charge us $17?!!! I was shocked to say the least! Location is good next to MSG overall we had a good stay but it’s definitely more of a 2/3⭐️ hostel people walking around with no shoes on etcthe domestic staff were top tier as was Crystal on reception ( think it’s a family business) disappointing stay here and sadly won’t recommend

We got charged $20 extra by the opposite parking lot as the hotel receptionist didn’t tell us to pay at the hotel front desk first(we were told by the parking lot staff when we paid at last day). The day when we checked in, it was a trainee and trainer there at front desk. They were busy talking to each other and ignored me for 5 min. Then they didn’t mention anything about the parking fee but told us to park our car to the public parking lot. Secondly, the room is very small and the towels were not clean

December Visit
We had read some awful reviews so were expecting the worst. Rooms were basic, but spacious and clean (My daughter and I had a twin room which had two large beds in). We were allowed to have an early check-in and late check-out (for a small additional fee) which was fantastic as we didn't want to leave our luggage in the luggage room (where it seemed to be just a room of the reception with no security and a free for all). Ate in the bar/restaurant on our last evening and the bar girl was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us.

Not what I booked.
We booked two rooms each with two queen beds. We called and checked and came in person and checked before we checked in. Upon checking in later in the evening they could only give us a king size room with a cot. We had to ask for pillows and blankets as they weren’t on the bed. The blankets had cigarette holes in it. No one could help. I’m speaking to management in the morning. Also, the cot only fits where it blocks the door to exit the room (major fire hazard) and the route to the bathroom for the rest of the family. We are extremely disappointed
