If you want to stay on UWS, this is great location. The rooms are clean. And the staff are great. But, the rooms are extremely dated. Neither the sink nor the tub faucet worked properly in my room and the heat was so loud I had to shut it off (and it was 17F outside so the room got very cold).

The hotel was located in a wonderful area near the subway, super quiet, we had a kitchen where we could make breakfast and saved money. Staff wqs nice and helpful. The hotel rooms xould use some yodatinf but everything wqs clean and housekeeping did a great job we always had fresh dishes and pans when we arrived after a lonf day and rhey checked us in early which wqs super nice and helpful wirh little kids. Thank you to all the staff at hotel Beacon.
