Good location on Upper West Side -- easy sfe walks to 72nd and 79th IRT stations. Lincoln Center also an easy 15' or less walk. Fairway Supermarket across on Broadway and Trader Joes just a couple blocks down so one can take advantage of room kitchenette if you wish (and it was decently stocked in terms of utensils and pots and pans). Lots of restaurants nearby. My king sized room was apporpriately spacious and worth the extra $$$. Elevators worked well and at most had to wait one minute. All in all look forward to repeating my stay in a year or two.

Really worth it. Huge rooms. Sure the furniture is a bit outdated, but it's clean and sturdy. The bed was very comfy. Kitchen was clean and sufficient. Not a single complaint! And the front desk staff were very accommodating, allowing me to borrow a bistro chair for my room. Excellent views. This is truly a hidden gem. Would recommend over and over.

My daughter and I had the best stay at Hotel Beacon. The hotel was steps away from public transport, restaurants, and stores. We were able to walk to central park and museums. The staff went above and beyond to help us and were friendly and attentive. We felt very safe and the property was clean and comfortable. We will return!

Perfect getaway
Great stay at Hotel Beacon, the room was spacious and clean. Quiet and comfortable, we would definitely stay here again. It was nice to walk to Central Park and through the area without the usual congestion of NYC.

We always enjoy staying at the Beacon when we come to the city. The rooms are spacious and there are great options for families. It has the feel of living in a city apartment. The staff is always friendly. Easy walking access to great UWS restaurants and conveniently located close to the subway.

We loved our short stay! The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean and pretty spacious for manhattan. It even had a tiny kitchenette and dining table. We walked to Central Park and Levain Bakery is just around the corner. I would stay here again!
