OK stay.
Very average stay. I hadn't realized the hotel was in such a remote area. Staff weren't very professional but otherwise friendly enough. Would have been nice to have some area in the bar to have a nice quiet relaxing tea/coffee /drink but instead it catered for dining only which gets rather busy and noisy at night and there's nowhere else to dine. The same basic menu for lunch and dinner. Bedroom I was allocated was very small and and bed very uncomfortable, bathroom likewise and there's is nowhere to put your things such as toilet and makeup bags etc. Overall average stay and room for improvement. On the plus side receptionist and doorman very nice and friendly an asset to the establishment. Beautiful, quiet country surroundings if that's what your looking for.

Great stay at Crover House. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A shout out to the front desk staff who helped co-ordinate getting phone messages dealt with. Also the maintenance folks that pumped up my rental car tyre that was having issues. It allowed me to get to Cavan to get replaced. Food and service in restaurant was outstanding. They treated us Canadians very well!!

Some of the dining room staff were unfriendly and appeared untrained in hospitality. The dinner menu was limited, and vegetables served cold, overall the food was just average.

3 nights bnb...lovely lakeview room, beautiful grounds to sit out and admire,.hard working employee's, plenty of food, just everything you need for a break, surrounding area lovely for a drive, so reasonably priced ..do it..
