Inconvenient Stay with Unresolved Issues
I stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. The water in the shower didn’t drain properly, and despite informing the staff, who promised to contact the engineers, nothing was resolved. As a result, I had to shower at the pool every day. Additionally, the rooms are not soundproof, and the noise from outside made it difficult to relax. Towels were not provided according to the number of guests in the room, and basic maintenance issues, such as fixing the bathtub when requested, were ignored. The location of the hotel was also inconvenient. While it is close to the subway, the station is not accessible, which made getting around with luggage or strollers difficult. Moreover, reaching many destinations required switching subway lines, which added time and hassle to our travels. While the staff was nice, the overall experience left much to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.

We were very impressed with our stay here! Very close to the subway with a ton of coffee shops, bodegas, and restaurants. Essex Market is across the street with a variety of great dining options. We loved Unregular Pizza! We especially loved the pastries and coffee at Pause Cafe a few blocks down. Andres at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was pristine with full-size bottles of Dove products for shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and hand soap. We will definitely be back and will continue to recommend this hotel!

Run down but clean
This hotel is clean and fairly comfortable, however it is run down and the decor is very outdated. There is a fridge in the room and I had a decent bathroom, no tub. For the price, it's not what you'd expect, although this IS Manhattan. It's a good location and the customer service is great. Diamond was friendly and extremely helpful.

I know they can do better
I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience. Room was ADA compliant like I requested. It was clean and in good condition. This time, few of these things rang true. Room 606 was not as I requested with a ADA compliant layout. Room wall was shredded in parts. Drawers would not stay closed and being next to the housekeeping closet, there were noises all hours of the day and night. We needed a new fitted sheet at one point and communication with the staff was difficult as they did not speak much, if any English. We were given a queen size comforter at first, then a flat sheet, then a queen sized fitted sheet and finally a king size that we needed. Only to discover it had holes in it. Shower had hair on the floor. Lobby has some sort of deodorizer that smells heavily of a detergent like odor and is way too strong. To the point of headaches. I wish this stay mirrored my first one because I didn’t really feel I got a fair deal here with how much they are charging per night. Front desk service is always so helpful and kind and generally speaking, the hotel is clean, in a wonderful location and isn’t in as much disrepair as the room I described. I think I just got a bad room.

Not a hotel...homeless shelter
The hotel is used as a shelter by the city of NY for homeless people. Only the 5th floor is for guests. Never was told of this when I booked. Horrible hotel. Stay away from it.

This hotel is located in an unsafe area in LES. Hotel rooms are very dated and unclean, area behind the beds are filled with dust and likely pose a safety concern. Had an item go missing during my stay and staff (Felix) were unhelpful in investigating. Would not recommend.
