We stayed there for a week, everyone was so nice we loved the hotel! Room were super comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to NYC.

Dino gem in great location.
Carlton checked us in. No hello, no welcome. Just ID please. Kinda off putting. Garbage can in room was full upon check in…guess housekeeping didn’t empty it from last guest. Only 2 bath towels in room when we had 4 guests. Also shampoo and conditioner were out so had to call for refills. Room was spacious for NYC hotel. Location was on point. Loved the slippers and storage for wet coats. The high tech toilet seat was a nice touch…especially loved that it was heated. We’d stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location, close to shops, restaurants, etc. It was extremely clean & the rooms were a good size, the hallways were very dark. However, it is very basic, there are no draws/furniture to put your clothes in, just hanging space in the closet. The counter space is large, goes across the entire room, so we put our stuff on top of there. There is no coffee maker in the room, nor a microwave, just this weird kettle, warm up water for what. It is good for a few nights stay but we were there for 9 nights for a medical procedure & we could not even heat up food which was annoying. We also asked if they could move this chair from the 2nd floor lounge that no one even knows is there, just this weird space on the 2nd fl, to our room since our family member needed to sit after the medical procedure in a large comfortable chair & the room had only desk chairs. Apparently, there is no one in charge there, like a manager & they kept saying they could not do it.

Execellent location. Right in the heart of midtown manhattan. Kids would love the cool animatronic dinosaur in the lobby. Easy to walk to all subway lines

Family crisis
My stay was cut short due to my daughter giving birth to a premature baby and I needed to get home urgently. Stephanie on reception was incredibly helpful getting me through to the airline as I was very upset and she even managed to secure a refund for half of my stay which I did not even ask her to do. Her kindness was very much appreciated at a very difficult time for me. My grandson was born as I arrived at the airport. Thank you Stephanie I am very grateful to you for your help.

Seclusion from the outside world.
the only issue is your phone won't work in this hotel. It's a blessing and curse. Just can't call loved ones from the room. You literally have to go outside to make calls.

Gem in Midtown
Great choice for staying in New York. Right in the middle of Manhattan so good for exploring both north and south. Great price to quality ratio. Rooms are really big for New York standards. Best to choose rooms facing the street but on a high floor. Comfortable beds. Good bathrooms. Very clean and in good condition. No breakfast but that is not an issue. Fantastic bagel place downstairs and Starbucks. Will stay again

Our stay was perfect. The hotel is conveniently located, and the room is good. Additional services, including LG equipment to refresh our clothes and the toilet, are very nice. We will definitely come back next time we’re in the city.

The front desk staff are friendly except this one guy that literally ignores you when you say hi. When we arrived, I noticed the bathroom wasn't fully cleaned as there's leftover hair on the floor and bath tub. There was also a stained pillow cover. Other than that, they were great in changing Towels daily. The location was central to where we needed to go.
