I really like staying in the Time Square area of Manhattan and Hampton Inn was an ideal location, close to transportations, dining, entertainment, ect. Staff were very nice and hotel/rooms were very clean. Some improvements are needed for breakfast as it is quite basic. I will definitely come back.

Location of the hotel was incredible for our brief 2 night stay in NYC. We were able to visit all the spots we wanted even in such a short stay. Broadway district is just a few blocks away, and a couple of prime observation decks are also a few minutes of walking from the hotel. We took advantage of the free breakfast for 1 morning and it was great. Kind of a small selection but it was enough to fuel us up for a whole day of exploring. The waffles were the stand out for me. A gripe for me was the plumbing in the room. The toilet wasn't flushing after our first night and we had to call in for maintenance. Also, the shower can't run too hot or else a grating noise will start coming from the pipes. Other than that, the hotel was clean and had great amenities. Checking in and out was efficient and the front desk answered all my questions about areas of interests and airport transportation. The concierge Joseph was also very helpful with the services offered to hotel guests. He helped us with luggage storage while we walked around after checking out and called us a private car to take us to the airport. Overall it was a great stay and will consider this hotel again when I go back to NY.

Hotel was central & walkable to many tourist sites. Little loud street noise at night but not too terrible. Staff was accomodating with holding luggage before & after check-out due to flight times.

Front desk acted like there was no other rooms in the building they could move us, we were put in an accessibility room, when we did not even need it. Someone who needed that room could have used it, but the front desk made it seem like we were wrong for booking through Expedia, since we did 2nd floor was the only floor we could stay even after telling them we will pay more to move rooms. Than we had to spend a whole night without a heater and in to freezing cold, that night they said they couldn’t do anything and gave us two extra blankets and said this should help, next morning we couldn't even take showers because of how freezing cold it was in our room. Next morning my husband spoke to the operations manager who was very sweet. Explained to her we had to sleep in the freezing cold while i am pregnant and it was extremely uncomfortable and they wouldn’t do anything at night. Finally they gave us another room but yet again another accessibility room which was given by another lady since the operation manager had left and it was after three.

My overall stay was good, my kids enjoyed their stay. Big up to Jordan at the front desk, he was super helpful. My only issue was the toilet malfunctioned and would not flush and they took a few hours to fix the issue. Other than that, the hotel and front desk staff was great. Would definitely visit again.
