To be honest for the price and location I didn’t expect for the place to be perfect, and it wasn’t the continental breakfast was dried up hash browns and rubber omelets and hard boiled eggs. But the coffee and toast were tasty and the waffles looked good but the line to make waffles was too long to entice me. All of that was to be expected but the thing that actually made me give them a “less than average” rating, was the fact that our toilet never flushed and even after house keeping was made aware and said that she alerted maintence, no one ever came to fix it…. We had a short stay just for the weekend, and we had a lot of things planned soo didn’t have time to call and check on or nag the front desk about it but it with the limited access to bathrooms in NYC as it is it would’ve been really nice have a clean functioning toilet back in our room .. Hampton Inn Grand Central NYC… DO better!!

I like this hotel for the easy access to places. I don't like the room spaces, it was small. The personal in front desk and the ones preparing the breakfast was excellent.

I have zero complaints. Staff greeted us when we first arrived, very friendly. We had the opportunity for an early check-in and went about the city. Room was clean, small (not complaining, after all, this is NY). There’s breakfast included with your stay so that’s a plus. Very close to Grand Central and about a 25-30 min walk to Times Square. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, the mattress was great and the room was comfortable with everything I needed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well done and with enough variety to please anyone. Very clean dining room. This was a pleasure trip and it was a perfect place to stay for it.

A comfortable, clean hotel with a very good breakfast included. It was close enough to Times Square and other sites to be very walkable, but far enough removed that it was much quieter. A fine choice for a family trip like ours.
