A great location on Broadway. Close to Times Square and closer to Central Park. This Hyatt is a winner....find the rooftop bar and patio for a pleasant surprise.

Dream Midtown has a great location. Staff was excellent. Rooms are or course on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The only reason I didn't do a 5 star was the noise. Other hotels windows seem to block the noise. The windows in the Dream hotel might as well be wide open, they stop no noise from coming in.

Only reason it was not five stars is phone customer service system that Hyatt provides. Room was what I saw on the site. Front desk check in and other requests were perfect; reception agents at the hotel were fantastic. WiFi worked well, as did tv. Sundries (shampoo, water) were good. Phone system to talk to Hyatt and room service were horrible.

Overall it was a good stay. The building is a little old and could use a few updates (headboard was ripped up a bit, tables a little stained) but the staff were SO friendly and kind. The location was perfect. Especially if you are hitting up a broadway show! Very easy to walk to.

As soon as we got to the hotel I realized that my king size bed was actually more like a queen size. When I called to tell them I didn’t get a king they told me that’s what they consider a king size. I told them if I ordered a king size bed I should get one, not a queen size bed that they try to pass off as king. He said all their king rooms were like this and it’s not an actual king but what THEY call a king. The rep and manager were very rude and argumentative. The next day, engineering just flung open our door. When I called to find out what happened because I was scared by some random person opening my door, I didn’t get a response like I was promised. I came downstairs to find out what was going on. The manager called me and told me the engineer went into the wrong room. They offered to comp us breakfast and credit me the destination charge (why is this even a charge when there aren’t amenities??). The breakfast was gross and stale (bread basket and cold coffee). The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or the restaurant, Serafina. Far better options available in the area.

Two Star Property
Room is completely different than it appears in photos. Furniture and carpeting are long overdue for a refresh and even in their hay day, belonged in a 2 star motel at best. The bathroom is the smallest I’ve ever seen and the sink is the size of an airplane sink. There was a unsecured wooden step leading to the balcony that was so wobbly I almost broke my neck coming in. The mattress was quite comfortable but the pillows were far too thick. I was completely unable to sleep and went to work tired and with a stiff neck. There is no coffee available in the room or lobby and I was directed to the third party restaurant on the premises where I poured my own coffee into to go cups but had to pay for it. Elevators are super local starting in the early evening hours because one is dedicated to the rooftop bar. The two positives are the very pleasant front desk staff and the convenient midtown location. Unfortunately I will not be back.

Lovely staff, great location, excellent corner Deli, close to Central Park and easy subway to all tourist destinations. Luggage rack was broken, light bulb burned out on arrival, bathroom door couldn't be fully closed. Great luggage hold service on last day.

Very conveniently located at the center of midtown hence extremely easy to walk, subway to everywhere. Room is a bit small but reasonably priced. Roof top bar is very cool and give you the view of the time square. A bit noisy but keep in mind you choose to stay in midtown.
