This hotel was so affordable and walking distance to the port authority Uber shuttle stop and plenty of subway entrances. You can easily walk to time square, herald square, and Hudson yards. You can text the staff for an instant response and they had great amenities in the room.

The location was excellent. A few bars on the street and a 711 for all your needs. Would suggest Latitude, Joyce and the Beer Authority bars. A little more tranquil than the top of the street onto the hustle and bustle of 8th avenue which had plenty of food outlets and shops. The rooms were large for the city and good little kitchen. The rooms need a little attention but only a few scratches on doors but it was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also nicer than the photos. They also helped us out with a longer stay due to Virgin cancelling our flight. Really good stay and good value for the city. Would say again.

Great location! Close to everything. All you need was at the hotel, staff was amazing! The continental lounge was excellent! You had free juices, coffee hot chocolate cereal…would stay here again for sure,

Clean nice but not without hiccups.
We were on the street side so if you have hard time sleeping ask for none street side room. The heat even after turned down to 68 was very hot in room. We had trouble sleeping first night. 2nd night we decided to turn off heat and use fan to drown out street noise. Slept much better. Bed was fine for me but my sister said it was too hard for her. Older hotel so you can see mainly in bathroom that it’s in need of remodel but was clean and sufficient for what we needed. We had a hiccup with using valet service as our car was brought around 1 and 1/2 hours after being told 45-1 hour causing some anxiety with making my flight. All worked out and I think it was the young man behind counter who may have done something wrong. He was very nice and extended our room so we could wait up there and they would text me when car was around. This was something offered and not asked for so I give credit for trying.

Love the area but we booked a room with a queen bed. We got a full mattress instead. Paper thin walls and surfaces inside the hotel room that had not been cleaned are bring this rating down.

Great hotel
It was an amazing experience with an awesome location to Times Square and subway all other places. Stuff were friendly and helpful. Everyday complimentary coffee, tea etc! Room was very nice and clean and comes with full size fridge, dinnerware and utensils! We were happy and satisfied! P.S the only downside was curtains didn’t shut all the way

Very practical
The hotel definitely shows its age with rust, multiple coats of paint, stained and yellowed towels, etc. So, not the destination for a honeymoon or romantic getaway BUT a very practical destination for a clean hotel with good and friendly staff and working amenities. I'll definitely come back for any extended stays. The rate was good and having a fully stocked kitchenette and free washing machines in the basement saved a lot of money. Worth mentioning twice that the staff members were great.
