We loved our stay at The Devon recently! The room was beautiful and the pool and spa were our favourite part. Our only feedback is that the rooms should have microwaves. Not everyone can afford to get room service or use the buffet every night so having a microwave to heat up cheaper meals would be ideal. We did ask reception to heat something because we had leftovers we didn’t want to waste from a takeaway meal the night before and although they did it for us, they said they aren’t meant to. Apart from this, we have no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay ☺️

Very modern complex. Bar and buffet restaurant on site. Spa and swimming pool. Heaps of social spaces to meet. 2 parking areas, reserved for price, and free unreserved which could get full over peak periods. Generally a nice hotel. Would stay again.

Friendly/helpful staff, nice room (albeit on the smaller side), good value. Not much immediately by the hotel (in terms of restaurants, etc), but reasonable walking distance to a number of New Plymouth’s sights and various restaurants.

Bed was lovely and soft and room was very clean. Beautiful view of the hotels sculpture gardens. Very close to everything in New Plymouth. Parking spaces filled up fast though so finding a spot outside the hotel was a bit tricky.

It was a nice place to stay had free bikes to use the pool was nice but could have been a bit warmer. During the lights festival it would be nice to have shuttle to the free bus and back. Parking was ok but not a lot on site considering size of hotel. First in first served. The staff were lovely and attentive. Decent amount of milk too for coffees but not much coffee itself. We were lucky had two rooms one liked tea one coffee so we swapped
