Nice hotel but has limitations
It was a good trip. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were 2 of us in the room but they only left towels each time for 1 person. I had to call the front desk for room cleaning. No open restaurant in the hotel for dinner on Sundays. Had to resort to room service with the limited menu and added expense. Nice hotel but needs an upgrade.

From the moment that we arrived we were treated wonderfully. Every member of their staff was extremely friendly and polite. My only complaint was the noise (revving of cars) on Canal Street until all hours of the night. Was thankful that I brought my sound machine. But had to move it right next to my bed and turn it up as loud as it would go. And I could still somewhat hear the motorists. Not the hotel’s fault. I would just recommend that you ask for a room on the other side of the hall or a top floor (we were on the 5th)

The hotel was perfect! We arrived at 7pm. Check in was 4pm. When we entered the room house keeping was cleaning the room! I didn’t like that, because she asked us to step out of the room and she will let us know when she’s done. The television was not working they had another room number and name on the tv screen ! The hotel is in excellent location walkable to all restaurants and shopping. The trolley is right in front of the hotel all the hotel employees from check-in to dining to housekeeping have been extraordinary away smiling and saying hello.

Classy and charming.
Our stay was very nice. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean. Room 533 has a great view of Canal st. The food was amazing. Best shrimp and grits I have ever had! I appreciated that we needed the hotel card key to enter the hotel after a certain time. Safety is essential.

This was a great location with awesome service! It lived up to the Ritz-Carlton name. My room did not have the best view but the service, the actual room and hotel made up for that.
