I’ve used Expedia several times before but this was my last time. I booked a last-minute hotel at the Homewood Suites in New Orleans, but upon arrival was told that there are two locations. My entire family was staying at the Poydras location and I accidentally booked the Rampart location. I called the Rampart Homewood Suites to change the reservation, and they told me it was fine with them to cancel/rebook but that I needed to call Expedia to get their permission. I called Expedia, and they put me on hold to call the Rampart location to get permission. When Expedia took me off hold, they told me that the Rampart location said I hadn’t called and that they would not allow the cancellation/rebooking. Expedia then accused me of lying. I lost 1.5 hours of family time during the holidays and my family will not be able to leave together for the cruise tomorrow morning. It will be a huge hassle. No more Expedia for me.

cleaning dept didn’t clean our room until i’ve asked them on the fourth day (we were there for 6 days) the washer was working but the dryer is not (2 of them) i’ve read this a month ago thinking that after one month they’ve already fix it the breakfast buffet was the same everyday the valet guy was good though

Excellent location and walkable to everything. The only thing I can say is that the shampoo in the shower was empty. Other than that, staff was excellent, room was quiet and bed very comfy. I would absolutely stay there again if I were ever to return to New Orleans!
