Wonderful ladies in the morning. Mailane was despicable. I have always loved Bienville House. Stayed there many times before the renovation. Sadly, I will not return. There are far too many options in this wonderful city to tolerate the treatment I received from Mailane.

This is an old hotel. The floors are wavy, posing a safety hazard. There was mold on the balcony door, another safety hazard. The staff was a bit gruff when checking in.

Day staffing, especially Cynthia was extremely nice. Night lady was not too nice. Property is located in great walking distance. Old and needs a good upgrade. This is an historic property and it is beautiful, however it could use the carpeting replaced in halls, pool was not cleaned, you can use the pool at the other property, that would have been nice, I would old have liked to use the pool where I am.,the Tiki bar is also a good option as the location. Have stayed at this beautiful place before with my mother. Would like to stay again. We Hank you for all the morning staffing that assisted and always made you feel welcome in our his great city.

The staff and location were very good. The room have been updated but other fixtures are a bit older. There was a lot of noise from room above and from the hallway. But overall we really enjoyed our time.

Overall, a great stay at a wonderful property. The only flaws were the housekeeping department. We did not have towels on the last two days of our stay and had trouble finding a housekeeper to give us any. Exceptional staff were the Bellman, his name is Karlton and the Agent, her name is Cynthia. They went above and beyond to help us and made the stay nearly perfect.

Great place to stay its walkable to everywhere in the quarter and just cross over to canal street if you want to catch a trolley or hang out to downtown. Also if you want to sleep you can because you wont hear the drunkies on off burbon street or much elsre but yet walk back to the hotel in whatever condition you're in.

So. Very old kind of less good maintenance. The room is equipped with a very old bed and not comfortable mattress the hvac didnt work i could hear every step of the gusts in the room above us Regardless very kind employees and good location I will not recommend it

Due to a late reservation I didn't get my room of choice, but had to be on the sundeck, which is actually the roof. Trust when they say check in is 4 pm. Got my room at 4:05 pm My room still wasn't ready but they did find one in my catagory that was. Maybe because I was sitting in front of them for over an hour lol. The property is a little old, again only can speak of Sundeck room, but it was very clean and the daily maid service was ok. If something was missed they quickly provided it. Note my room was 401 which is right off the elevator. The roof is like an X. You may have to walk down a hallway and rooms are around a corner. Kinda scary and dark. Glad my room was where it was. Nice amedities in the room and the bed was comfortable. Advertising an expedia was wrong. No breakfast is available and if it offers a tour credit the hotel doesn't know about it. Not their fault though. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Great location. On Decatur which has the best shopping and most restaurants. Very quiet and close to Streetcars and Canal Street.

This is a historic hotel. So everything will not be perfect. I will absolutely come back for 3 reasons: 1. Staff was wonderful. 2. Connected Latitude restaurant and bar were one of our favorite spots. 3. It’s near and convenient to everything! Things to consider: if water pressure or perfect quiet are needs for you, this might not be your place. The building is old and pipes are old so water was difficult to rains and lather. Just take a longer shower. Walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors conversations and even snoring. White noise YouTube playing overnight solved that.
