The hotel was very tired, room was very low quality. Everything was old and just about holding together. No tea or coffee facilities, however the housekeeper organised a coffee maker for us when we asked. Disappointing hotel with no food or beverage facilities, not even a bar. Although the hotel is located right in the middle of everything, this was the only benefit.

The hotel is great and obviously in a great location. I was incredibly disappointed with the room’s furnishings. One of the windows was duct taped closed (people don’t pay hotel rates like this to have their window duct taped!). The furniture in the room was very dated and the desk was broken. Overall all, the hotel was pretty good, just not great. There are a lot of other hotels to review and I believe the direct question to ask is, would I stay here again…? The answer is no

The desk staff and housekeeping staff were all very nice and friendly however, the hotel overall needs an update. The furniture in our room looked like it came from a garage sale. It just felt dirty because everything was so worn. That said, the location was perfect for our needs; it is central to theaters, dining, etc. and our room was quiet. It was fine for our needs but they really could use a remodel or an update to the rooms.

So disappointed with our stay at this hotel paid for a double room and when we checked in got told that wasn’t available, so gave us a room with a bed and a sofa bed and got told to put up with it! The rooms are old and dated nothing like in pictures

Convenient location and room was fairly acceptable. Price was high, but it’s Manhattan.. Minor things wrong, toilet paper dispenser was broken, TV didn’t work. There was no in room coffee pot, fridge or microwave. So very basic.

Great location and you get the real NYC buzz! Room needed some TLC and housekeeping didn’t come for two mornings out of four, despite asking. There is no roof terrace as advertised and no room service. Small shop downstairs in lobby. Bit disappointing as pics definitely do not reflect our experience.

Very dated.. no toilet roll holder, bath/ shower turns into a footpath for a shower. No fridge or coffee or even a kettle. Lifts were quick, and right in the heart of Times Square. Certainly not worth the money they charge.. but it’s NY.. what can you do?

First, front desk staff at the hotel was very polite. Unfortunately, the physical hotel was in very poor condition. Not renovated in decades. Restroom was not clean; water would pool in bathtub while showering. Mattress was like laying on plywood, stiff as a board, incredibly uncomfortable. Tried to use air conditioning system but it only blew hot air. Just a seriously bad experience for the amount of money spent.

So Hot!
Waited past 4 PM for our superior room-high floor. No fridge in the room. The room was way too warm the entire time for me and my entire family. We even shut off the heating unit. AC does not work during winter months so no solution. No fan in the room. I ended up opening the window as much as you can to allow air in. Did not provide much relief. Very comfortable, normally prefer high floors but would not suggest in this case.

This property needs upgrading. The bathrooms are outdated. It shows lots of ware. The wallpaper in the hallways is peeling off the walls.Location is great, not worth the hefty amount we paid per night.
