• Local resident restrictions apply. Guests residing within a 100-mile radius are required to contact the host before booking.

It's a spacious place with lots of natural light. Communication with the host and support was prompt. Kitchen was well stock with cooking utensils, pots and pans. Great place to stay!

Wonderful property
Pros: Our stay was very nice. The property was very well-kept. The check in process was seamless. Parking is somewhat limited. My family was very comfortable. Everyone had a space of their own. Cons: Cleaning fee was a tad high, considering that the property was dusty and the floor needed to be swept and mopped. The same can be said abt the patio. There was a termite infestation which left a dirt mound on one of the window ledges and dead termites on the floor.

Family reunion base camp
Lot of stairs to bring lots of bags and supplies up and down. Felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. More than enough restaurants to walk to for any meal. WIFI was not working and several locked doors inside the apartment that lead to other units/spaces that were occupied made for awkward feelings. No notice when service tech showed up to access space on other side of one of those doors... made the women uncomfortable and the men ready to attack the intruder.

Very Nice!
Very clean and well decorated. Has that warming Nola feel. Walking distance to Walgreen's for quick shopping and supplies. Restaurants within a couple blocks. French Quarters and Bourbon St a short 10 min Uber/Lyft away. The outside of place is deceiving on how well the inside is.

I enjoyed my 4 day stay. I had a handicapped friend I wanted to come to dinner, but could not because of the stairs. Please let people know about the steep two flights of stairs of the condo on the 3rd floor.

Overall the experience at this location was good. The grout in the master bedroom is loose so bring shoes as the floors are gritty. This is definitely the house of lights! Tons of lights and switches. Figuring out all of the switches was a challenge but ok once you figure it out. There is an Amazon fire stick but there was no input to use it. Who needs to stream when in NOLA anyways.. Location was just ok. There was tons of traffic so it felt like forever to get anywhere. Walking at night felt a bit sketchy, luckily we only did it once. Beware of the stairs! There are stairs for days at the entrance, do NOT overpack if you’re staying here. You will definitely climb off the food you will eat.

Nasty sheets no tv channels nor remote
I enjoyed new orleans but as far as my condo my sheets and pillow case were nasty. I couldn't even sleep in the bed had to sleep on the couch. As far as the tv one of the rooms didnt have no tv the other two didn't have a remote and the master room didn't have nothing but one or two channels. As well as the other rooms it only had one to two channels. The bathroom toilet has hair on the bottom of it. My stay here at this condo was a disaster I would like some of my money back. If I aint able to get some of my money back I am going to be very upset. I will not recommend you all to anyone. I am very very disatisfied custom.

Great location; unit needs some work
This property was the perfect setup for our group of 4 couples. Great space and good location near the St. Charles streetcar. The unit seems fairly new and looks great, but I think the renovation work was not all done by professionals. There's lots of tile work, but grout lines are off and the tile flooring in the hall and bedroom areas are loose and move under your feet. The AC seemed to struggle a bit to keep bedrooms cool in April, so the summer might be an issue. They have fancy ceiling fans, but none of the remotes for them worked, so we had to turn them off completely at the switch to get the light off. If you love light fixtures though, this place has hundreds! We wanted to see the upper patio, but it was locked during our trip. Overall would consider staying again though.

Great location; lots of room!
Roomy, comfortable too-level condo in 3-story building just a block off St. Charles. We had 6 people and it was roomy and nice. Pros: Nice patio, well lit at night, close to everything: the French Quarter, Garden District, streetcar line, Magazine Street. Cons: Bathrooms could use a place to hang clothing and/or towels, and kitchen could be better equipped for cooking. Two flights of stairs so if you need a lift, think about that.

It needs to have the flooring repaired and all the trash picked up around the outside of the proper.
This is a nice property inside. When we drove up I was shocked to see all the trash around the building. We literally had to step over garbage to get to our unit. Once we climbed the two flights of stairs to get up to the penthouse , we noticed that just about every step we took there were very loose tiles all over. On our second day in the home I stepped on a piece of tile grout and cut the bottom of my foot. I would not recommend anybody walking around this upstairs unit barefoot. We did enjoy the two patios and the rooftop one is amazing. I tried to get in touch with the property manager three times and he never returned my calls.

Has potential but seems incomplete
Based on the description we had the impression we would be staying in a very nice penthouse. Although it appears to be new construction, it also appears they haven't finished. This also makes me call into question the other reviews showing how great the place was since it doesn't seem like it could have been cleared to house people until recently. The tiles on the floor moved as if they had not been set properly. The balcony on the roof had the power turned off. The hot tub up there had no water. The TVs that did work had only a few stations (appears to use an HD antenna instead of cable or satellite). One of the light switches to the stairwell would get really hot and gave the impression that it could catch fire. The fireplaces are more for decoration and are space heaters with the vent above instead of putting off true heat. Although it is close to the trolley, the walk to get there is down an alley which didn't seem to be the safest walk. There is no included parking so we had to be on the street which didn't seem the safest, and to get anywhere we either had to drive or take transportation since it really isn't close to anything. Given the construction of the adjacent unit we also got a nail in our tire. There are two thermostats but the one controlling the master bedroom did not appear to work since that area would still be cold while the living room and other bedrooms were warm. The fan in one bedroom also didn't work. There are numerous holes in the wall that looks like surround sound speakers or a TV will eventually be connected, but again it seems like it is just incomplete. All the bedrooms have a single bed so although it sleeps 8, that assumes that there are four couples instead of 8 adults. Once everything is complete it does appear it will be a nice place to stay, but it should not advertise itself currently has a luxury penthouse.

i had a wonderful stay most of it was great. but there were a few mishaps.
The property was very clean and nice on the inside. It was difficult to maneuver around going into the building the door because of the construction I was going on next to the building marked C which led to the hallway accidentally closed on my heel was resulted to a big scratch or womb on my heel as the doors closing on my heel , that needs to be addressed so it wouldn't happen anymore to other people. I was expecting more channels or Wi-Fi or cable for the TV but the reception was very poor and we can only view a few channels.. other than that I really enjoyed myself but I'm still recovering from the wound on my heel I did not receive medical help or request medical help at the time because I treated it myself by walking over to Walgreens and get the necessary materials to take care of problem.. But now it's still really bothering me and it's healing but it hurts like hell. But all I had a great time.

Much more impressive in person! This place showed that someone took alot of pride in upkeep!
Excellent place to stay for extended amount of time. There was so much space in this unit that we never felt like we were on top of each other at any point. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies as well as a beverage refrigerator separate from the main fridge! We had 8 people in our family staying with us and finding enough space for them proved to be a chore until we came across this gem. Beautifully decorated and authentic to the New Orleans area. Vaulted ceilings and contemporary furniture and fixtures as well as beautifully designed lighting. Well maintained and quiet. We could not hear anyone else in the building and there were no complaints of noise issues(we have kiddos). Great location, about 2 minute walk to public transport and a 15 minute ride to get to the French Quarter/Bourbon Street area(30 minute walk). Met with Arthur who managed the property. He was welcoming and answered every question we asked as well as giving us his personal cellphone number to call or text if we needed anything. We texted him a few times during our stay and he responded within minutes. Even though there was not any off street parking, he did allow all 3 vehicles in our party to park in the driveway. All in all it was clean, quiet, convenient, affordably priced and a beautiful penthouse to house our family for a week. I think our favorite part was the huge porch where we spent most of our time . I would recommend Hosteeva and this property specifically to anyone!

A great place that needs attention to detail
Let me start with all the good things. The Condo is in a very good location with many things right by the condo including restaurants, bars and shops. There are some homeless people close to the area but they did not bother us. There is a Walgreens right by the condo to get some essentials if needed. The trolly is right by the condo and easy to get on. The condo is nicely decorated but the finish work like tile and trim work was done by some of the worst craftsman that I have ever seen. There are loose tiles everywhere in the condo and grout coming out. It's a shame as the owner of this condo will have to have work redone in a very short time because of this. The other issue I had was there was very little in the way of cooking utensils and things that normally are furnished with a rental like this. If the owners would just pay attention to some of the finer details this place would be something really special.
