The Harley House is centrally located for easy access to all New Braunfels has to offer. Stay in an authentic and charming tin roofed cottage! This house is over 130 years old. This home is not wheelchair accessible, suitable for children under the age of 2. No Pets are allowed.
The space
The Harley House is within walking distance to the Comal County Fairgrounds, 2 blocks from the Guadalupe River, and 3 blocks from the Comal River and Schlitterbahn Water Park. Schlitterbahn's buses pick up less than a block away from the house, so the property is ideally located for those visiting . The downstairs den is located next to a private bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a mini refrigerator. A small microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. There is also an electric skillet and outside grill. There is a loft bedroom for adults only with a queen sized bed that is accessed by a metal spiral staircase. A leather queen sized sofa bed in the living room will sleep 2 more adults or children for a total of 4 guests. NO PETS are allowed..this is not for the entire house.
Guest access
Guest have access to the lower level living room, a private bathroom and two outside patios. We do have a grill. There is a microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot and a fridge Loft is not suitable for children under the age of 2 or those with mobility issues. You should be physically able to climb the spiral stairs and bring your own luggage to the loft bedroom. There is no access to the kitchen for cooking. We do not accept pets. Please be aware that rental is not for the entire house- it is for the attached guest suite loft bedroom, bathroom and living area only. There is no kitchen access.
Other things to note if you plan on going to Wurstfess you should start making your reservations soon. Because people come from all over the world to go to this really fun occasion.
The Wurstfest Festival held in Landa Park is only mile away. Held in early November. Comal County fair held last week of Sept. Just across the street you'll want to attend the Rodeo and fair. Summer weekends are always packed with tubers from Memorial weekend all the way thru August. We also have some outstanding restaurants, including Cajun, Mexican, great Texas Barbecue. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and is less than a mile away. We’re located less than an hour from Austin or San Antonio so it’s easy to go to the Zoo or visit the Natural Bridge Caverns in San Marcos.We’re only a few blocks from the Comal River on one side and the Guadalupe River on the other side. Come visit and have a great time!
