Above an event space that had an event with a dj until 2am. Music so loud the walls of room were vibrating. No mention of this anywhere. Didn’t sleep at all. I want a refund. Worst hotel experience in 25 years

Five star experience at Sonder property
We had a very nice experience with our stay at Sonder in Nashville. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed with everything you needed. The location was excellent- very walkable to shops, restaurants, and parks. When we had questions or needed help , we called the help number and the issue was taken care of right away by friendly helpful staff. We will definitely stay at a Sonder property in the future.

It was a good stay overall . The apartment was really nice for the price we paid. The only issue we really had- and have had every time we stay at Sonder- is the lack of customer service. We put in a request for a set of bedding for the pullout bed and it didn’t come for 8 hours. As when it did come it was just a set of sheets. No blanket or pillows. The common area downstairs had been neglected too. I don’t think they have anyone overseeing the property.

Nice apt on a great area
Nice studio apartment in a great location. Conveniences- washer and dryer, full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee, shops and Vanderbilt. Kroger grocery is about .5 mile away. Would stay again. It was convenient, comfortable, and in a good area. Lots of parking options, all paid but were reasonable.

Security and safety is an issue
Very strict procedures to stay at this premises so we expected security. On our last evening with an early airport start, a large group of youths with a ghetto blaster playing very loud music woke everybody at 2am. They were sat on the community terrace and were intoxicated and shouting loudly. I was petrified and I contacted a staff member on the chat app! There are no staff at the premises. I spoke to a staff member and they said they would look into this. Silly I know but with a shooting massacre the few weeks before I was scared. About an hour later there was shouting and banging on the corridor and after 20 minutes it went quiet. I have sent many emails to have some monetary compensation for the last evening as we were inconvenienced and could not go back to bed. I was told in one email to have phoned the police if I was scared! An international tourist at that! The price of the property and lack of security/human contact should mean the price of the rooms should be less. After 2 months the company are still passing the book and not offering any explanation or apology. I have sent 6 emails and will continue to. The room was lovely by the way and has tarnished our stay in Nashville with such poor customer service - take the money and run attitude

I love the area that this location is in. It's got everything from a plethora of dining options, shopping, and nightlife. It feels like a safe and friendly community. As for the property, I love that it has a balcony and other roof top area to enjoy your coffee or night cap. I love the in unit washer and dryer. And it was a clean space. My only critiques are: 1). Exterminate the property. I saw a roach in the kitchen and knew based on the size there were others somewhere. 2). Provide more face towels. I had the same issue at my last Sonder location in DC. Luckily I came prepared and brought my own. 3). Provide a couple complementary waters, coffee filters, coffee, and creamer for the space. 4). The smell in the place is a mix of cleaning supplies and old furniture.

The good: the apt is super cute, quiet and mostly clean. They have everything you need available to you (dish soaps, laundry stuff, full kitchen, etc), The bad: There was no signage on the exterior of the building to identify property name. We never got extra bath towels as requested. The fitted sheet did not fit the queen mattress (not sure how you don’t see that if you are cleaning and making the bed). Some sketchy guy and woman were hanging out in front of the parking garage one of the nights of my stay. I didn’t see any instructions on how to operate the door locks.There was vomit on the parking garbage floor the entire time we were there. My parking garage fob never worked, even though we paid for parking. Hoping that they are in the middle of a reimbursement for parking purchased.

REALLY ONLY THING BAD WAS INSTRUCTIONS FOR PURCHASE PARKING WAS AWFUL, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN CHARGE OF CONVEYING INSTRUCTIONS. TERRIBLE THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY $20 PER DAY! BATHTUB DID NOT DRAIN, SAW PEOPLE CLEANING ROOMS IN THE HALL AND ASKED IF THEY COULD ARANGE TO HAVE IT CHECKED THEY SAID THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO CONTRACT SONDER AND WITH THE HORRENDOUS TIME WE HAD TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW TO BE ABLE TO PARK DIDN'T THINK IT WAS WORTH THE EFFORT.
