Very upset that EXPEDIA did not showcase this hotel correctly. Expedia's gallery information regarding the bathrooms showed showers over baths. However after checking in we found our bathroom only had a shower cubicle. This meant an inconvenient room change the next day. We thought all rooms had baths with showers. Expedia should have been more accurate when describing the hotel's amenities

Great pool, quite warm too! Lovely view from the room & the bar. Food was nice, service was slow though. Doesn't have room service, despite saying it does - I was told I could order in the bar & carry it up myself but I have a walking stick so not sure how I was meant to balance it. Also if my son was well enough to sit in the bar while they ordered & cooked his food,then we may as well just eat there (he wasn't well enough) Worst though was the lack of sleep due to the pillows - all 3 days I woke with the worst pain in my neck, despite trying to sleep in every position & try every pillow! Haven't had this issue in other hotels.

Couples Christmas shopping trip
Dont get my wrong, the hotel was lovely and clean. The service was great. The staff were friendly. Our road over looked the main, very busy road but with the windows closed and a few wines we don’t mind (some people might, so ask for a sea view) During a lot of the time there was off and on rumbling noising that came from either works going on that we weren’t informed about or the ventilation shafts (front desk staff didn’t know what to do). I advised front desk they just said sorry about that. I have audio recordings and let the hotel staff listen. There was great breakfasts and the pub grub was prefect and not expensive. We wanted to go to the restaurant in the hotel but they just closed it (without any warning) so I can’t comment on that. Overall I will stick with an average recommendation.

Lovely relaxing hotel
Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff, food delicious. Hotel set in idyllic surroundings for relaxing beach walks with plenty of coffee outlets en route. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the very poor WiFi

Nice spot in Buncrana
Thanks very much, just a quick one night stay, but the girls at reception were great, got me a sea view, and then the night team were great, got me a breakfast at 6am too. Bar staff great, nice food in bar, and the pool is a really nice pool too. A good location and a nice put next door, the drift inn.

2 days away.
2 day break in a very nice hotel with my wife. Room was very good with a view over loch swilly. Staff excellent as was the food. 2nd visit here and will return.
