Located 2.5 hours north of Toronto, 10 minutes south of Dorset (Algonquin Highlands).
The property backs on to hundreds of acres of crown land.
Lakeview in the front.
Here you can explore the outdoors, jump on the ATV trail right from my driveway, relax in the hot-tub ( with fresh spring water for every new tenant), enjoy the health benefits of the steam room, fish, bbq, have a bonfire, watch the stars.
Lot's of great restaurants around as well.
Water access, and canoe rentals, at the Frost Center few minutes drive north.

Very disappointment, beware beware beware

We will never ever book this house again. Owner last minute cancel on us ruining our whole vacation. we had three families taking time off to enjoy the time in cottage country all that dream shattered within couple of hours to check in. we never ever even dream anything this nature. so beware it looks like a big scam. it was terribly experience was very hard to even take our refund still hasn't it received yet though.

Perfect spot for a vacation with friends

Came up with a large group of friends for a weekend and this spot was perfect. Plenty of beds and lots of room to hangout. The owner is also super nice and helpful!

Overall it was great ,but no access to the lake or beach foe swimming.

One family was unable to come to the trip for personal reasons so the cost was shared among the 2 families as a result we found it a bit expensive. Otherwise, it was great. Jhon ,the host was great.

Family Stay Summer 2022

We rented this house for a weekend as we were attending a family wedding in Huntsville. The house was very cleaned and communicating with the owner was top notch. The only room for improvement that we noticed was some basic items that were missing. I brought this to the owner’s attention and he responded quickly and thanked me for letting him know. He said he would ensure these items are present for future stays. You’re welcome! 😊 Overall it was a very good experience.

Great Cottage

Overall a great place to stay. Owner was fast to reply, and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The indoor hot tub and sauna made our trip even better! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay with friends or family :)

Relaxing time

The property was very clean and inviting. The hottub and steam shower were a wonderful bonus. It was a relaxing time. The distance is far from town so bring your own groceries.

Wonderful Experience

The property was very well maintained, and there was plenty of sleeping space for everybody. We had a couple of fun evenings in the indoor hot tub, which is a nice feature, and the wood burning fireplace adds some good warmth to the cottage. There are space heaters provided in the bedrooms in case the temperature up or downstairs needs a boost at night. The owner lives in a house adjacent to the cottage and was extremely quick to respond to texts and in general very helpful, bringing us extra items immediately if we asked. The hiking trails in the area are beautiful and we spent some time walking around the lake. We would definitely stay with them again.

It is a great spot for a getaway.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage. It was spacious from the rooms to the living spaces. Enjoyed the spacious kitchen, living room, foyer and backyard space. The facilities are clean and well maintained by the friendly owners. Also enjoyed our time in the hot tub. We celebrated a milestone birthday in our group and it was a perfect location for an intimate celebration and relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this rental!

Amazing weekend!

I rented this cottage for my group of friends and I. The overall experience was 10/10! We had such a blast here and the host was amazing. He was a very nice man and very helpful towards anything we needed. He does live right next door so if you need anything he is right there. I saw a couple reviews saying that some people needed to keep the noise down and I was worried about that since I do have a loud group of friends but that wasn’t the case, as long as you’re inside you can make all the noise you want. The only thing was the beach was a bit far from the cottage, you definitely can not walk there which is what we were expecting and the doc shown was a small area. Other than that, everything was perfect and the host was very nice. Would highly recommend :)

Pine Cottage Rocks

We loved our stay at the cottage.Owner was very nice and helpful. He even bought us a new BBQ. Cottage is really nice and has a balance of cottage feeling with modern amenities. Would totally recommend it!

Quiet and Relaxing

Wonderful place with everything you need to relax and have a good time. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway. Plenty of room for everyone to have there own space to unwind and relax.

Everything was good

Everything was clean. Cottage was warm and cozy. The hot top was on and hot. We enjoyed the fire pit outside the house. The fridge was clean. Its recommended and we would like to book the cortage for next season

Girls weekend

Very rustic. Can accommodate quite a few guests. Tried to keep quiet and respect the 10pm quiet time curfew. The owner lives about 10 feet away. The outdoor hot tub was used once most of the girls found the water looked murky and there was dirt on the seats so they passed on using it. Heat in the cabin is controlled by owner so we needed to ask to have them turn it up or down. Cabin type of heat so very hot very quick not too much flow so we would open windows but hard to get loud after 10pm quiet time. When using stove we did not know you could not use all elements and oven so we tripped a breaker and needed owner to fix it. He entered in through basement and fixed issue. So then we could only cook turkey dinner in stages. Glad we brought almost everything kitchen wise as the cabin was not stocked for cooking use. Three bathrooms and no flushing of toilet paper glad we brought garbage bags. Only one shower. Overall we had a hood rustic weekend at a cottage.

Beautiful spot and nice home

Loved the long back grass plenty of room for activities! Yes the quiet time is 10pm so you must obey by that, noise is kept in the house fairly well! Overall I wouldn’t mind coming back to this location!

Gorgeous Cottage

This cottage isn't waterfront but 3.1km away (a 3 minute drive or a short walk) and you're right at a public dock, beach, and the start of hundreds of kilometres worth of trails. We had a fantastic trip and the cottage provided ample space for us both inside and out. If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed with this cottage. The drive up was so scenic it was hard to keep my eyes on the road, the interior of the cottage was nice and made us feel right at home.
