A very pleasant stay at the Victoria Hotel, Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Especially the regular bar staff in Vic's (Dylan and Ashley ) were happy to talk with the solo guest and interact in many amusing ways.

Overall, I was very happy with my choice of The Victoria hotel. Its location is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt the accommodation was good value for money and I should have booked the buffet breakfast at the initial reservation, it is excellent value. My two tiny points are that I thought that the Aurora English breakfast tea was not a good tea and the brass safety mechanism to prevent the door opening fully was not working because the screws in the door had pulled out. I reported it to the hotel when I was leaving. I did not feel in any way unsafe because of this issue. I was very happy with my stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
