Older style hotel, with free breakfast in the morning. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Parking is limited, so get in early. Hotel is older style. High ceilings. Bathrooms are seperate to room. Great for a overnight stay.

Gorgeous Georgian.
I would definitely stay here again. Antony and the staff were just lovely and so accommodating. The area was so quiet even though close to the city. Easy access to the tram and train and of course the MCG. My room was for a solo was basic but warm, comfortable, clean and space for my stuff. I would probably bring my own pillow next time. Thankyou to this gorgeous place.

The only thing we can pick on was that the fridge was not cold and the little tubs of milk were off. Also the toilet seat seemed too small for the toilet. Otherwise, service was excellent and the place was nice and clean.

This property is in a great location for walking to events in the Melbourne & Olympic Parks vicinity, which is what we wanted. The property is bigger than expected and loses a lot of smaller B&B vibe. Parking availability is limited and difficult to get to if in a bigger vehicle. Rooms are basic and ageing, however there's great security.

Property was not as advertised, unkept, dusty, dank and smelly. They did offer to upgrade our room however, it was not an improvement. We refused to stay in the hotel and went to the quest apartments around the corner for a minimal cost increase but a far more superior experience. I would not recommend the Georgian Court Hotel to anyone and while I would like a refund I am doubtful they will honor. Do not be fooled as I was by the beautiful Georgian architecture allure or B&B charm, this place has been left to ruin and there is nothing quaint about it.

Below average facility’s and cleanliness but the price is cheap which is fair so still 4 stars overall comparing price to other hotels. Staff were nice, very busy, seemed like just one guy runs the entire place by himself including the kitchen, amazing effort for one guy. Parking included is not your typical parking, it is a very tight one way alley way behind the hotel that you drive into, with limited spaces, not actually enough for the amount of rooms of the hotel, once spaces are full then everyone else is instructed to drive in behind and park in the alley, blocking everyone, you can’t get your car out until the next morning when you have to guess/wait for other guests to check out or move their car for you and/or get a knock on your room door being asked to move your car. Would be good to know this in advance before booking, no street parking available in the area, recommend not bringing your car or staying mid week may be ok if hotel is not fully booked.

It’s in a quiet leafy part of East Melbourne. The Host couldn’t do enough to help me, they are a lovely Family, was excellent value for money & so well situated to Medical & Sporting Facilities. The Georgian does not rely on the latest, best or slickest. It has priced itself accordingly. Very convenient to all the city has to offer and accessible on the 48 tram from Southern Cross. The staff are friendly and helpful and you always meet interesting people when you visit, particularly at breakfast.

Everything is dated in this B&B. 2 star rating in my opinion. Nice hosts though. The water in the shower did not go down the plug hole as expected. It took over 30 minutes to empty the shower base. A used band-aid near the fridge did not thrill us with confidence that any amount of care by the cleaners had occurred. The cushion of the bed was way better than the pillow provided. BYO pillow if you can.

Everything was neat and clean. Slightly dated but all functional. Very convenient access to transport and CBD, perfect if going to anything at the 'G. Parking is limited it seems, so if you're booking thinking you're assured a park this may not be the case. I'd suggest calling and seeing what is available. We got a park, but it was in short supply by the time we did, checking in around 5. Given breakfast was included the price is reasonable, especially given the location. Overall not the "modern" hotel experience, but if you're going in just looking for somewhere comfortable and convenient you'll be fine.
