Lovely staff and breakfast. No cold water in the shower and there was a crack in the bathroom doors which meant the floors kept getting wet. Balcony could have been cleaned better upon arrival and having someone explain how the electrics work would’ve also been useful. Overall, good hotel and good experience.

A bit of a disappointment really. Service was lacking as they repeatedly got room service orders wrong during a time i had food poisoning, which i believe came from food i ate in one of the hotels restaurants.

Do not recommend, will not be returning. Expected a lot more from a Movenpick hotel. Check in took ages because of long queues - something I've never experienced before. Toilet was broken, power sockets did not work. Asked for kettle to be replaced and was told someone is on their way but nobody arrived (and wasnt even offered a tea for the inconvenience). Music by the pool is too loud. Avoid.

Whilst the Property itself was beautiful, the staff were consistently rude and reluctant to help with general queries, suggestions or the most basic requests from Concierge. It seemed that we (Australians/English speaking) were treated differently to local guests or French-speaking tourists, despite our best efforts to speak broken Arabic-English. Our best way to describe it was that we were treated as “second class” compared to everyone else (and we’d just come off four weeks travelling Europe, where their service has a worse reputation). It was disheartening and disappointing, inevitably dampening our stay at the Hotel.

A really fun hotel

We loved staying at the hotel as it was so quiet. We slept well and forgot we were even in a big city. There are so many trees and green spaces with even rabbits, birds and peacocks that it feels we are in a little oasis. It was very well maintained. Breakfast options are great. Staff is very welcoming although sometimes the service is a bit slow. Best mint tea around. Easy to visit from here and be picked up for excursions. Very close to the airport. A great place to stay.
