Fantastic hotel. Beautifully decorated; wonderful and spacious room; lovely and delish buffet breakfast. Parking garage not close, so we had to valet ($40/night), so offsetting that cost w the complimentary breakfast was appreciated.

The area around the property was filthy and noisy; coming back to the hotel in the evening we could not even get close with our car to the hotel entrance to use valet parking and had to park several blocks away. There were many unusual characters in the area around/in front of the hotel that made walking to the hotel unpleasant. Also, once in our room, there was noise/party on our floor-- VERY loud and inappropriate conversations being held (foul language, etc) & even a fight escalating--it was well after midnight. We notified the front desk who said security would be sent up--it was, but the noise/activity stopped only for a short time. I will never stay nor recommend this property again.

Was told when we checked in at 6pm that our room was not available due to a guest have a late checkout. We were told that we could come back anytime through the night to check in. When I started asked what were we supposed to do while we waited as we had a concert to attend at 7pm and wouldn’t want to bring our luggage in from around the block(valet parking was full). We were told that the clerk would check with housekeeping. We waited 20 mins to see if it was available was then met with a manager who said the same thing. When I inquired about check In for guest being at 3pm I was met with that’s not a guarantee. We were in town for a concert that started at 7pm. We were allowed to drop our items in the room while house keeping finished cleaning. Sad that an I’m sorry was never offered. You’d think that a hotel so nice would have had better customer service.

Don’t let the drive into the area deter you from the hotel itself. The traffic’s on the street was a bit overwhelming when we arrived, and figuring out valet and our luggage was a bit of a mess. However, once inside the hotel was very clean, inviting, everything you see in the pictures. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. We were greeting quickly, checked in and to our room within minutes. We had a few minor hiccups that were taking care of with a few quick texts. We were within walking distance of all of our plans, the Mexican restaurant at the corner was tasty!

If you need help. Don't stay there
We could not check in. The traffic was backed up in front of the hotel. We called requesting information as to where to park. Parking is listed on the website. They told us to drive around until we found a public garage probably a couple blocks away (we had 2 dogs and luggage heading to Florida for our home for hurricane cleanup) and we could uber or wait for $40 valet when it came available. We had already been stuck in traffic so we tried to get the hell out. They told us that it was nonrefundable. We had only booked a hour before arriving not sure of what path the hurricane took. So we are out of $250, 4 hours of our time and a robo text welcoming us at 4:30 am to the hotel .
