This Hotel has a fantastic location with one of the best beaches in SJD. In a few words, “it’s cheap and cheerful”! Posada Real is an older property, but priced very well. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You are a short UBER ride from downtown SJD - a must visit. The only downside was the noise in the hallways - loud and percussive, bring ear plugs. If you want great value and a World class beach, with friendly staff, you’ll be happy! Mick

Amenities are basic, but food and staff were great. Recommended if you are looking for a cheap and chill vacation. If you are looking for more to do or nicer amenities I recommend paying a little more and staying somewhere else. Definitely recommend san jose del cabo over cabo.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was small and comfortable. The staff where all super nice and friendly. Especially Bernardo and Antonio at the pool bar. It is an older resort but very well kept up. The beds and pillows in our room lft something to be desired. And we were not able.to.get a drink till the pool bar opened at 11:00. But over all i would stay here again,especially for the price.

I really enjoyed my stay at posada real. My only complaints are directed towards the conditions of the rooms and the quality of the buffet food. Our room had some rust on the bathroom floor from the shower curtain also, our balcony door handle was broken. The buffet dinner food was hit-or-miss. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Reception staff was great and courteous. Food was limited options and simple when eating at "Buffett".... not worth the $26 ea person! Room was clean but things outdated like bathroom shower stall. Bed was comfy and got good rest. Checkout was way and quick. Still the food could have been better for the price.

This place is very laid back and relaxing by the pool and walks in the beach is very close. I would recommend to all my friends you can go wrong in staying at the Posada Real, Rico and Christina

As many reviews state, it is an older resort but it is impecably maintained, clean pool and rooms and the nicest staff. We chose to have only the breakfast included and it was great. Definitely we will return.

The place is comfy but to old. No microwave in the room wi-Fi signal to poor but the biggest problem was the restaurant. First my wife had hair on her food the on the 2nd day I found hair on my food I I brought it up to administration just to find out they said there’s nothing they can do about it. Very unhappy.
