Disappointed with the customer service and poor planning. Our room was not ready and was asked to wait on two separate occasions. The lady employee @ check in told me that 4:00 pm is never a guarantee — I thought this was odd as 4:00 pm is the stipulated check in time. I am flexible and can understand ‘things happen’ but it’s the lack of care that bothered me. I am here to celebrate my birthday with all my family and was not offered anything (not even apologies!) to make up for the tardiness. I would have loved to feel appreciated and valued but instead was made to feel like a bother. Please do better!

Great location. Lovely place. Surprisingly large room. We appreciated the convenient shuttle to the Universal park. The store inside the hotel is well stocked and was great for finding numerous items. Our only frustration was the laundry room. Half-way into our California trip, we needed to wash clothes. The machines needed either coins or an app to pay. The front desk did not have coins, and the glitchy app did not work at all, so we could not wash clothes. But if you don't need to do laundry, this hotel is worth it for its location and other features.

The pre check in was great although the fact that they charge for parking for hotel guests is not cool and there were other charges added on top of the parking charges as well. The shower door was not sealed enough that there was always water out of the shower making the floor mat always soaked. The sofa bed was not comfortable. There were stains in the sofa and scratches too. The air conditioner controls were goofy that we had to turn it off because it was to cold at one point. The view was amazing.

Wonderful location and if visiting Universal Studios, it is a must stay location. If you are looking for normal Hilton level dining options, bar and concierge this is not the place for you. It exists for its location.

Awesome Spot!
Very clean location, room was very quiet even though we could see the freeway and Universal Studios from our window. Would definitely come back here and stay again, you cannot get any closer to Universal and that is the reason we were there. Room was spacious and bathroom was large
