The staff at the hotel were friendly and nice. Room was clean and pleasant. Soundproofing is great as it is so close to the airport. However, the food in the restaurant was subpar very disappointed in this if people stay there eat elsewhere.

The guy at check in was fabulous! Our room was ready early. Convenient for returning our rental the night before and a shuttle in the morning was awesome. The bartender was friendly made us some great drinks and the food was good - some of the best service we experienced in Portugal.

The Melia was so close to the airport, it was perfect. I wish I could have used more of the amenities but was very tired from the flight. The lunch buffet and next morning breakfast buffet starting at 4am were perfect. They also allowed me to checkin a bit early which was much appreciated! I look forward to staying again on the return leg of my trip. Thank you!

Great Hotel Choice
I love this hotel when I need quick access to the Lisbon airport the following day. Every employee from the person who answered the phone and gave me directions to the shuttle pick up, the shuttle driver, the front desk staff and restaurant personnel were friendly and professional. Both times I stayed at the Meliá Hotel, my meals were excellent with five star service!

Free transport to airport available every 15 minutes. We were there shortly after 7:00 am but chose to walk since there were more people waiting than would fit. I noticed that we both arrived at the same time. Easy short walk. Use the crosswalks and be vigilant. Great hotel with excellent breakfast and also great options for food in the bar. Very happy we stayed at the Melia.

We had a very early flight the next morning and because we were not able to take advantage of the fresh breakfast, the staff had packed us a brown bag breakfast/lunch to take with us instead. So sweet of them.
