This boutique hotel is truly a hidden gem nestled on the cliffs, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. This hotel is just easy. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and looked after. There is an incredible team. Its position means it's quiet and away from roads and railway. And the uninterrupted sea views are beautiful. If we are back in this area we will definitely stay again. It's a 10-15 minute walk to all the restaurants which is good for an after dinner walk. Cascais is really lovely, so clean and safe.

While the location is lovely, this hotel advertises as a 5-star and I do not think it meets expectations for that level. Our room was very small. Clean, but cramped. Food was average and hotel amenities feel a bit tired (eg. Pool chaises, chipped tiles in pool, bed comfort).

The property itself was very nice but the rooms were outdated. There was a horrible smell of sewage in our room; the wifi didn't even reach our room and everything was very old.

Lovely hotel with great little touches like a personal letter to welcome us, daily cookies and kombucha and super friendly and helpful staff. In particular Reuben, Eric, Barbara, Apu and Francisco were really helpful and lovely, especially when my husband was ill. We’ll definitely be back. The pool is much bigger than the photos suggest and uses the modern salt rather than chlorine so doesn’t leave you stinking of chlorine. The food is excellent too.

We stayed here about 11 years ago and it has gone down hill. Service was horrible. Pool service is run by young, young kids and it is not really pool service; one must go to the bar and order yourself. (The only good pool guy was Enrique!) They have a gorgeous bar and there is a no bar tender! You have to ring a button to call for service and multiple times no one arrived???? This is a 3.5 star hotel at best.

The Farol Hotel is wonderful as are the staff. The surroundings, the facilities and the room were all excellent. Particularly enjoyed the hotel products shampoo conditioner and shower oil that were lush and spa quality. The breakfast as per reviews id read didn’t disappoint with a great selection and staff that couldn’t do enough for you if you wanted something a bit different. There’s no doubt that this hotel lives up to its 5 stars. We will definitely return

Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to be helpful. We loved the chilled atmosphere and the convenient location of the hotel. Plenty of choice regarding food both at the hotel and also in the town itself. Location was excellent with everything/everywhere easily accessible on foot. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will definitely go back. 😊

The hotel had everything I could ask for, Beautiful views, a pool, close to town and wonderful staff. I had an excellent outdoor massage near the sea. Also, the included breakfast was delicious.
