Ample space for the family or friends with a safe carefree 5 minute walk to beach area and 12 restaurants and local fast food.
No hidden extra fees for parking or resort fee like island hotels.

Older complex, clean & comfortable. Good Views. Free assigned close parking and fast WiFi provided. See surfers in the water easily seen from the patio. View of Nawiliwili Harbor, a working seaport, is across the street.
Value and location in central island. Our spacious two bedroom vacation condo townhouse that sleeps 4 adults in the 2 bedrooms, and up to 2 small children on hide-a-bed sofa in living room. Combo Playpen/crib (foldable) available to use. Best part is unit is just 100 steps from the hillside pool and BBQ area or walk across the street about 1 block to Kalapaki Beach. This is a unique condominium in Banyan Harbor (BH), a well-maintained owner-owned property rated 4.3 stars. Our unit is mostly absence of roadside traffic noise due to its upper hillside location. It is a lovely 2-level design townhouse is desirable due to location as closest buildings to beautiful hilltop swimming pool & BBQ area, and tennis courts. Free parking in your own assigned covered parking space directly below the unit, with 2 stairways to our front door. Partial ocean views. Trendy Hawaiian furniture & decor. Sit outdoors for breakfast or cocktails on lanai/patio with small table and chairs. Fun to watch large Cruise ships enter the harbor - three a week - quite a sight! Both bedrooms are on the upper floor. Kitchen, living room, 1/2 bathroom, dining table, and patio/lanai on first floor where you enter. Stairs shown photographs from parking space to condo front door. All stairs have handrails. Coffee Maker, bogie boards, small coolers and folding beach chairs and beach towels. Plus: good part is there are no neighbors above this unit.

Fast wireless FREE WiFi internet on premises included. Ceiling fans in all rooms. 13.42% Hawaii (approx $179 a week) state tourism tax.

■ Lihue/Nawiliwili Harbor - centrally located area on Hawaii's Garden Island, and so convenient with it is mid-island and easy to drive to Popui Beach or Princeville. Total of 148 all-suite condominiums in complex located overlooking historic Nawiliwili area. Complex was built in1970's, they are two-story low-rise buildings on the hillside and street level overlooking a working shipyard and protected harbor of local fishing boats. Surrounded by fun shopping, 12 restaurants, activities and entertainment.

■ Why stay in a one room hotel room? Better when you can spread out in the living room, sleep in a separate bedroom, washer/dryer inside condo. Save money and time by eating breakfast or packing lunches for day trips. Easy to BBQ meals and eat at pool area 2 minute walk.

■ Comfortable, older complex, great central location to either Poipu Beach (25 minutes drive) or Princeville North Shore is beautiful ocean and jungle feel 45 minutes drive.

■ Easy one block walk to two smaller shopping centers. Across from street, and a 5 minute walk down the beach to luxury Sonesta hotel property with vendor “Beach Boys” Rental stand where you can rent stand up paddle boards SUP, small sail boats, surfboards, take surf lessons, or enjoy unique outrigger canoe rides. Large sandy beach - complete with grassy picnic areas and numerous palm trees.

■ Within 2 miles: Three golf courses, Kauai’s largest shopping center mall, Kauai’s largest movie theatre. Costco, Safeway Grocery, and Farmer's Markets. Local mini-bus shuttle cost about $2. to Lihue town, shopping center or Walmart.

■ Fast & Free WiFi, cable TV. There are movie rentals available in the BH complex lobby for $3. An activities office where the staff can help you arrange best deals on ATV rides, ziplines, sunset dinner cruises, free maps and suggest good local places to eat is located in lobby office.

Afternoon Check-in 3:30 pm and Morning Check Out time is 10:30 am.

This condo is nice size, quality furnishings, convenient kitchen, ocean views and island location. I strive to set my vacation condo far apart with personal touches. Beautiful maghonany hand carved Master bedroom furniture hand carved in Bali.

Quiet here, too - very relaxing. Suggest while checking other units advertising for Banyan Harbor, ask if on ground level near the road, views or provide air conditioning in all rooms. Most units offered near main road will experience vehicle noises from local traffic that is noticeable.
POOL: This condo is in the closest building to the Pool Area with main BBQ area. Good sized heated salt-brine pool, perfect setting to relax overlooking turquoise waters of Kalapaki Bay. Pool Area has Restrooms, BBQ’s, lounge chairs, lawn area for kids, and picnic tables in a fenced area. Tennis and pickle ball courts to play for all ages. Office has free rentals for courts.

BEACH: Kalapaki beach across the street offers many benefits: One of the safest, clean swimming public beaches in Kauai as it is protected by the Harbor. Many locals outrigger canoes, Stand Up paddle boards, or surfers here. No fear of giant crashing waves if you have small children, elderly or a new to ocean swimming.

Let’s talk for last minute specials, 6 months or longer stays. All stays 30+ days require a mid- stay cleaning fee every two weeks for housecleaning team to refresh condo, new linens, and cleaning floors paid with reservation booking. Much Aloha!

Great vacation location
We had a great week! The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was clean, and well laid out. Everything was in good working order and all instructions and communication were extremely clear. Great location: walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach. So much fun to watch the barges and cruise ship coming and going from the balcony. Centrally located for driving activities as well. Loved it!

We had a great stay for 7 days. We loved being able to sit on the lanai and watch the ships and harbor activity. The condo had everything we could possibility need including quite a few pantry staples and condiments. Very traditional Hawaiian style home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Unit was very clean and well stocked with anything needed to cook a meal. There are NO grab bars in the shower and very low toilets but linens are very clean and good quality. Location is good very high up walking is all uphill or downhill lots of stairs if you take lots of luggage no elevator

This condo is very conveniently located to the airport and the Royal Sonesta Resort where my husband was attending a conference. Overall positive report, but it is true that the local contact was hard to reach. Also, there was loud music and a few fireworks(?) one night till 3 a.m., presumably from the cruise ship in port. Instructions for the Wifi had been changed, but had not been updated in the instructions, so that took us a while to figure out. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Beautiful Banyan
This rental was more than adequate for our recent visit to Kauai. The living and dining room furniture is new and refrigerator & dishwasher are also new. The air conditioners are due for replacement but the fans in the bedrooms and open windows helped at night instead of listening to a noisy unit. The pool/bbq area were nice. BBQ’s were busy, so go early. Pool is salt water and small but nice. The condo is centrally located on Kauai and there is a really nice park and beach across the road. It was nice to have morning coffee on the lanai and watch the ships come into port. Karen (owner) was great to work with and very informative and prompt to answer our questions. We stayed here Jan 21-27,2024.

Beautiful Kauai
Our location was ideal for my conference close by at the Royal Sonesta, about a ten minute brisk walk. There were many places to eat close by, food trucks and sit down restaurants. We had a car, Costco and Safeway were no more than a ten minute drive. The large cruise boats were coming and going most days, which quite a spectacle. The morning sunrise was the highlight

Great décor. Quality, plentiful linens. Excellent wi-fi. Lanai is sweet spot for sunrise breakfast. Nice to have car right below, especially when sun was blazing/ raining out. Luxury not to haul beach chairs and a cooler across a parking lot. Front desk friendly. Complex has solar, making trip more eco-friendly. Short walk to the clean pool w/ amazing view of Nawiliwili & mountains. Easy walk to Kalapakī Beach. Not far from Kapaʻa & Poʻipū for good restaurants. Farmers markets, Costco, Target, etc., not far. Relief to have no one above. Generally quiet unit, though one day we heard housekeeping yelling next door. Loud party nearby on last night. Heard waves at night when the (faint) highway noise fades. Roughly 18 steps to condo. Would like more lighting if I were woman staying alone. 2nd bedroom not closed off completely (top is open). Good to know if you have light sleepers. Washing machine smelled like previous guests let it get musty. Window AC units were between 60 & 70 decibels on lowest setting. Owner explained that trade winds at night make AC unnecessary. There were cool breezes at night, but a loud party nearby on last night made us close windows. Few dirty/ broken things, but nothing major. To be fair, owner gave us maintenance's info before stay. But instead of complaining, we just cleaned up. Why bother with arranging repair while on vacation? Would stay at BH again for location alone. Overall, strong value.

Becoming our regular spot to stay!
This is a clean, basic condo with everything you need for your stay! Internet worked great, beds good, everything clean. Really nice little view of ocean and mountains to drink coffee to in the morning. Everything good. Lots of food in walking distance. Best of all, I love how it is right across the street from Kalapaki beach. This condo is becoming our go-to spot each year on Kauai!

Perfect Location to Access the Island
The rental was exactly as listed. Clean and well stocked with things to help make a week long stay feel like home. There is a washer and dryer to get suits and towels clean after a day at the beach. There is a beach that is within walking distance, as well as some little shops and restaurants. The property is clean and you can easily access activities on the north and south shores from Lihue.

The property was as described by other reviewers, so the steps going up to the condo were no surprise. At least I got in a lot of steps and flights! 😉 The location is very convenient to so many places and things to do. The beds were fine for all of us. I chatted with Kiki at the office and she was helpful in showing me places to check out. I feel like we all had that once in a lifetime trip to Kauai, and the comfort of the condo helped after being on the run most of the day! Thanks!!

Great base for exploring Kaua'i
Convenient to all sides of island and airport, as well as easy walk to a calm beach and lots of gift shops and restaurants. Can see beach and waterfront from balcony, and sunrise (in January). Rental car is needed and we appreciated the covered carport (don't back in!). The property owner was responsive and clearly cares for the property. It made a great base for our 6 day stay on Kaua'i. Only downside might be noise from roosters, which are beautiful- and are all over the island anyhow! Airplane and ship activity is only sporadic and not intrusive.

An ideal place to stay.
Karen is a great host! She gave me lots of helpful information about the property. She is also very accessible when I called her.for questions. We enjoyed her unit and it has an AC which was helpful when it’s humid. There are three stairs from the parking garage to get to the unit. An elevator would have been nice. It was a little challenging for an older person carrying their luggage but I just did it slowly. The unit is convenient to where you want to go and enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Karen.

Great location, right across the street from a sandy surf beach. It’s about a half hour from good snorkeling in Poipu in the south and about an hour to Hanalei in the north. Costco and Safeway are a 5 min drive which is handy. Our family liked the pool and we used it quite a bit. Not a fancy place, but it had most things we needed.

Perfect location to explore the east or south sides of the island. Beach gear was a nice addition though in very used condition. Close to grocery store/ Costco and bbq on site to cook meals after a day at the beach. Mini pantry stocked for convenience too. Glad we stayed!

Garden Isle getaway
1st time to Kauai. This is a great location to see the Island. Easy to get to from the airport, easy to get to shopping and beaches. Swimming pool is nice and the people at Banyon Harbor are very friendly. This unit was supplied with beach towels, boggie boards, a cooler, beach chairs and other items to enjoy your stay. Only drawback is all of the stairs which didn’t cause me any issues, but if stairs are a problem, beware. Overall, a very nice place to spend an Island vacation!🤙🤙⭐️⭐️⭐️
