Weekend getaway
Hotel staff was really friendly. One of our beds seemed broken and the building is on the older end. Bartender wasn’t really friendly or welcoming. We asked for changed to play the pool table but she sent us to the change machine which was not working, we were then sent to front desk. who apologized and said she should have assisted us instead of having us run around. We forgot our charger in our room and called the hotel, they were so helpful and had it at the front desk when we arrived. Food was not very good and got sick from our meal.

There was no wifi available in the property. We cannot even get signals through out phone. Bathroom was really old and filthy. Bathroom was stained and dirty. The place needs alot of upgrades. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable.

I hope you can remodel the rooms
Paint on walls, ceiling, doors, baseboard and trim was very bad. I found small spiders between the blankets and in the bathroom. the tub is in poor condition The TV programming never worked, the person at the desk and the person who wanted to help us were nice but it never worked. The outside is very nice. But the rooms are very bad.

Disappointed by Hot Water Issue and Staff Response We have stayed at this lodge twice before with no issues and have always enjoyed the serene mountain setting and cozy accommodations. Unfortunately, our recent stay fell short of expectations due to a significant issue with the hot water in our room. After discovering there was no hot water, I called the front desk for assistance. The attendant explained that, because of the lodge's location on the mountain, we needed to run the water for 20-30 minutes for it to heat up. This seemed unusual, but we followed their instructions, running the water for the suggested time and checking it regularly. Sadly, there was no improvement in water temperature. I went to the front desk again, and they sent a maintenance staff member to our room. The young man attempted to address the issue, running the water for another 5-10 minutes without success. He seemed unsure of the cause and struggled to provide a clear explanation, which made the situation even more frustrating. At 10:30 PM, he appeared overwhelmed and unprepared to handle the problem confidently. While we love the area and have had positive stays here before, this experience left us disappointed. Hot water is a basic expectation, and the handling of the situation—particularly the lack of preparedness and effective communication—was frustrating. We hope the lodge can address these issues to ensure future guests have a more comfortable experience.

Would recommend!
Staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. A cute and peaceful resort to stay at. Brought my puppy and they were very accomodating. Only reason for less than 5 stars was that there was no elevator and the place could use a little renovating, which it looks like they're starting to do.
