Had a great 30th birthday!
Came here for my 30th and when we were young fest and it was an excellent time! Close but not directly on the strip! Great for catching Ubers or Lyfts and everyone was very nice!

The room was spacious and nice upon arrival; however, I had the following issues: - the bathtub was not draining correctly, so by the time I was done with my shower there was about a foot of water that took well over an hour to drain. I called the front desk to advise them, but was on hold for a long time so hung up and advised the front desk upon checkout. Because of the drain issue, the bathtub was slimy and slippery. - there was literally just a sheet on the bed, no blanket, so I turned up the heater higher so I wouldn't freeze - some trash on the bathroom floor from the previous guest - no refrigerator I was only there for 1 night, otherwise I definitely would have demanded to change rooms.

The staff we interacted with were great. We got to interact with a couple including Rick and Sergio in the bowling lounge area along with another gentleman who on our first night in another bar who we saw once more helping Sergio out honestly made us want to come back. They’re friendly and great, along with the other members. We will be back.

Not What I Remember
We wanted to stay off the strip this time and it had been a while since staying at the Orleans. It is definitely in need of renovation. Neighborhood appeared to be kind of rough and Uber driver advised us not to walk around the area. Bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable and food at the cafe was very good. We had an issue with the smoke detector chirping and the maintenance guy did not want to replace the battery because he said that our room was not the room that the front desk told him. I literally stood at the door with the door open so that he could hear the chirp while he was having lengthy discussion with other staff about this. he eventually came in and replaced the battery. the other issue was one night it sounded like there was a motorcycle club in the parking lot revving their engines and blasting their music. It was not a bad stay, but I am not sure that I would stay there agin.

The property did not honor the upgrade price that was advertised. Both the employees and managers did not know anything about the "vip" room upgrade price that was offered and forced me into a higher price on site

Overall, decent
Hotel was overall a nice stay and good value for the price. Only downsides I would say is the food options weren't super great and it does feel a bit far from the strip. Hotel room was clean and mostly comfortable. The sheets were a bit stratchy and the air conditioner and toilet were pretty loud. Overall, decent stay and would recommend for anyone not caring about being away from the strip.

I stayed in two different rooms during my stay here, one on the second floor and one on the seventeenth. During my stay, I brought concerns about room conditions to the staff’s attention on three separate occasions. Once about the hydraulic hinge on the door being completely detached, once about the shower drain being completely clogged and backing up dirty water onto my feet, and once about the literal feces dripping down the front of the toilet. I don’t even know how that happens. These concerns were ignored by staff. Maintenance came by to repair only the hydraulic hinge, however, it appears they only pushed it back into place and the next time we opened the door.. it popped right back off. The shower and toilet were never addressed, and we never received any type of housekeeping and were forced to track down a (very kind) member of housekeeping to give us new towels. Additionally, the smoke smell downstairs is sickening, if you are sensitive to smoke smell of any kind you will need a mask to move through the first floor of the hotel to your room.

Horrible hotel and casino
First they put us in a double queen suite that looked over the casino roof and then we were moved to a king room on the 19th floor. I told them I have bad feet and knees and it was not good to walk that far, bit they ignored me. Said they would credit me $50 for food, but I don’t know if they ever did. I also have a very bad fear of heights and didn’t know the bathroom's were located against the outside of the building. The window in the shower is outside of the room view and I was mortified. This is from PTSD and the front desk said they couldn’t help me with any of my concerns. I will NEVER stay with your hotel again. The casino is nasty and smoke filled, the smell of marijuana is EVERYWHERE and permeates everything - including the rooms. It’s disgusting and disappointing.
