We stayed at the Palms Place Strip View One-Bedroom suite. Room in extremely poor state, especially for the price. Upon arrival we encountered the following: a shower smelling strongly of mold, the rainfall showerhead was nonfunctional, the standing tub jets shot out dirt and mud when turned on, the closet lights were broken, several lights throughout the room were faulty or non-functional, many stains and scratches on walls, doors, floors, including *white stains* on the bed headboard A nonfunctional TV in the bedroom A fireplace that rattled when turned on A kitchen sink soap dispenser that was not stocked Poor communication with housekeeping. Took us calling 3 times to have some someone help us out. Even then, the only issue resolved was the smell in the shower. All other problems remained. As we booked through Expedia, the only compensation the hotel could offer was a $50 meal voucher card. While we made do, it was depressing having spent this money on a room that was so obviously neglected. We certainly won’t be staying here again.

I arrived late, after midnight but was checked into the room I booked and to my surprise had a beautiful strip view. The room was spacious and clean. Daily housekeeping was great. This was a work trip so I didn’t check out any amenities, literally just used the room to sleep in and shower daily. The surrounding area is not the best but as a single female, I never felt threatened in leaving/returning to the property, even in the dark. The day of check out, I left around 4:00 AM. There was a line of 2-3 and my Lyft ride was waiting so I had to drop the keys in the box. So far I haven’t received a final invoice to verify billing was correct. Providing there’s no issues with that, I would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

I stay here every time. Very clean. I you are looking for a home away from home and OFF THE STRIP this is a newly renovated option. Great for taking a breather from the strip noise. Ive probably stayed here 10 times.

Absolute worst case scenario. 👎👎👎👎
My reservation was canceled by the palms hotel even though I had multiple confirmation emails leading up to my stay. I then received one email the day of check in as I was on my way to the hotel stating I had canceled my own reservation. I immediately called the hotel to explain and they stated my card was declined. When I stated I did not cancel and offered to pay over the phone they stated they were overbooked, even though I had received the email the day of check in at the exact time of check in and called within 5 mins of receiving the email. The hotel did nothing to help me and refered me to speak with hotels.com. After speaking with hotels.com they stated my reservation was still in place on their end and told me to call them back and they would have my room. After several attempts to secure a different room bouncing between the Palms and hotels.com, we were denied. The Palms continued to say they were overbooked and we did not have a reservation. Thus, I ended up paying more for a differnt room as I scrambled to find another room last minute. I ended up losing my reserved suite the day of check in and paid twice as much for a regular room. Horrible experience.

The room we stayed in which we had for 8nights was dusty when we first got there an there was no conditioner or body wash in bottles. Our spa tub didnt work an the night lights flickered when on. We told front desk about issues an he had someone up to check it right away which was great but all they did was turn breaker off to tub an left 2tiny bars of soap. We never qere offered a new room or anything upon check the desk lady said it bothing they could do unreal.

Terrible.
We had a problem at check in. In regards to paying for the resort fees and taxes. We communicated to the worker that we were going to get our resort fees and additionally the resort fees of our sister in law that we also booked a hotel for. She said okay and communicated that with the hotel worker that was checking my sister in law in. He said “okay”. Come time to pay the worker helping my sister in law decides to not let us pay and demands payment from my sister in law. My sister in law complies and during the transaction I asked him what he’s doing? He acts like he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. The worker that was helping yelled at him saying “didn’t you just hear what I asked you to do?” They did not refund my sister in law or accommodate us for the communication error. Just shrugged and said “oh well”. Additionally we did not have hot water the first night and when we called we got nothing but attitude and disrespect they acted like we were inconvenienced by us and that it wasn’t a problem they had to care about.
