Dear Expedia,
Thanks for asking about my stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Las Vegas near the Strip. I was traveling with a family member with some health issues, and we have never had such a terrible experience before at any hotel we stayed at. We could not spend the night we checked in and did not stay there at all for the duration of our trip. We checked out on Friday, November the 13th. We asked for a receipt indicating we checked out that night but the staff refused to give us any information saying we have booked through a third party, Expedia in our case, but they have entered information about the checkout into their computer system which Expedia has access to and we have to contact Expedia. When I first booked through expedia, I looked at the pictures posted and all looked reasonable until we got to see the actual place. In summary, 1. What disappointed us most was the admission by the staff that those pictures on the hotel website are old pictures from times when the hotel was in good condition. How a professional business could do such a thing is beyond me.
2. The room was very unclean, the carpet was dirty and the bathtub was in horrible condition.
3. The staff was very unfriendly, not willing to address our concerns and answer any questions saying we have booked through a third party, Expedia in our case, and we have to contact them.
