You get what you pay for, maybe?
I was just discharged from the hospital and needed to book something quick and easy. It was a quick and wasy check-in, but the stay not so great. My first room they tried to check me in was previously used by someone. They let me know at check in that housekeeping is by request only but I didnt think they meant that literally. The next room was the next best for the time being which was a smoking room, which clearly wasnt up to par. I was switched from that room to another that had bad carpet and I jabr bad allergies, I wasnt even able to walk in that room. I walked back to the front desk and let them know of that room and the comment was "we moved you twice, this will be the last", mind you the 1 few rooms was not up to par. They moved me to the front, im assuming it is one of their nicer rooms with matching accents walls and headboards and granite counter tops but let that not fool you. Im not sure whay kind of bug was in that room but it was ugly.

It states it has a business centre. When I asked for boarding passes to be printed by the front desk the text reply said I “would have to take the initiative and call around and inquire” myself for where I could print them. The next day I spoke to a different staff member and she printed the passes for us.

I booked a stay with this property for October 5th through October 7th. I planned to stay there for those 2 days and 3 nights until my stay took a horrible turn of events. On October 6th, I was going to the bathroom and saw a bug. It was a roach! I then trapped the bug under an empty waste basket and packed up my things. I went to the office and spoke to the front desk. I showed them the picture and told them about the situation. They said they would move me to another room and have maintenance investigate the room. I changed rooms and went about my day. About halfway thro8gh the day I realized that if that room had a roach problem then all of them most likely did as well. I already couldn't sleep very well the previous night due to the overall cleanliness off the room so I decided to cancel my stay and move to a different company's property so I checked out and left. I then called the property to ask what could be done about this issue and I was told that there was no evidence of an infestation. Like what? I literally took a picture and trapped the pest to show proof of what I experienced. How can an establishment get away with this. A roach motel can continue to operate just by saying there wasn't a bug when there is physical proof of it? That is very wrong. I would like to speak with someone in charge of these properties and be properly compensated for the horrible experience and lack of compensation due to the issue.
