Roadtrippin' Rest Stop Must
Little motel in what can be called "middle of nowhere" with great service and comfortable stay close to Lake Isabella. Our room had an Everything-in-One historical Sink-Stove-Freezer-Fridge from the 1950's that added more character to the kitchenette. Perfect spot to stop, rest, and resume your road trip.

The place was quiet and the self check in was convenient. The room had everything we needed, TV, WIFI and a full kitchen. The place is really outdated and could use some upgrades.

Great location and service.
We arrived and the ac wasn't working in our room. Clint the gentleman working there offered another room that was cool not cold but its ok because I travel with a fan. I loved I was able to bring my puppy. And they had plenty of space for her to run around outside. The stars out there are amazing they looked so close. You can aslo see the lake. Which was a plus for us. If they upgraded the ac i would of given 5 stars. Its not fancy a littl dated but we were there to sleep. And the beds were comfy and quite and peaceful at night.

Keep in mind this is a stop and go motel. Buttt with that being said it's a classic original motel from the 50's. Easy to get into town and the lake. Staff was great. Very accommodating and helpful. The grounds keeper Clint was extremely helpful, nice and attentive. Definitely made us feel welcomed and safe.

Convenient to many birding spots. Good WiFi and microwave and fridge work well. Parking outside your door is great. Nice view of the lake. Hot water never failed. AC kept things cool.

Total waste of $80. The people in the next room were loud and rude. When we returned at midnight all the parking near our room was taken. We left and drove 3 hours back home.
